Description
HAM, or Heavy Automatic Miner is a mining drone designed to dig a tunnel through an asteroid and stop automatically.
Thus she needs such a good cargo capacity - 7 large containers.

HAM equipped with 2 batteries and semi-automatic docking mechanism bound to key "9". Before docking the drone, make sure that connectors are aligned, because the mechanism sets batteries to recharge automatically. There's a sensor that disables the docking mechanism if it doesn't detect a large ship, but it's still possible to mess it up

If you messed up when docking the drone and it is floating dead in space, the easy way to fix it is to access the drone manually, set the batteries to discharge, trigger the "launch timer" and set the batteries to discharge again. If it doesn't help (I have no idea why it shouldn't :3), check the state of the components:

The correct state for UNdocked drone is:
Batteries: discharging
Antenna, Ore Detector, Thrusters/Gyros: On
Timer Launch: Off
Timer Docking: On

The correct state for docked drone is:
Batteries: charging.
Antenna, Ore Detector, Thrusters/Gyros: Off.
Timer Launch: On.
Timer Docking: Off.

a list with all actions for timer blocks and sensors would eliminate a lot of potential problems

Hi. I need help... Timer Dock and Timer Launch are not set correctly. The action on the number 2 (hotbar) is not showing. What action should be there?

When i added this drill in my world and went it to connectors i had a problem. Ship only off anten and others things but it wasnt docking/ Plz help me/ Can someone write turn-based manual??? Please!!

Umm, It worked when I tested it... I haven't played SE for a while, though - maybe something changed?

Or maybe it's an ownership issue. Do you own both ships?

couldn't get it to dock with the Snowcat. Is that something to do with the deiiferent sized connectors?

I think the issue is with the blueprints system itself, because I had the same problem with another ship.
I'll let you know if I face any other issues.

- Sensor Docking switches on and off Timer Dock Toggle
- Timer Dock Toggle triggers both Launch and Dock timers
- Timer Launch actions 4 and 5 are antenna on, ore detector on
- Timer Dock actions 4 and 7 are antenna off, ore detector off.

It looks like your blueprint is not built properly...

Hey man, love the ship.
When I built this from a blue print in survival I have these actions missing:

HAM1 Sensor Docking, both actions missing.

HAM1 Timer Dock Toggle timer is set to 10 seconds, actions 1 and 2 are missing.

HAM1 Timer Launch timer is set to 10 seconds, actions 4 and 5 are missing.

HAM1 Timer Dock also 10 seconds , actions 4 and 7 are missing.
I can't wait to properly use this ship, so can you please reply with a fix?

Also, I did a couple test runs and nothing seems to break. Drills stick to the sides so the tunnel is quite wide and drone doesn't even touch the asteroid with any parts other than drills.
You can break it if you launch it from far away and it smashes the drills against an asteroid at 15-20 m/s, but that shouldn't happen if you use it properly.

well and you can break a docking camera if you try to dock it inaccurately.
