Sarge's NPC Ships - FTL Pirates

Description
Do you lose sleep at night over the thought of blowing up Rebel and Federation ships and costing taxpayers billions? Do you wish for a respite from the moral dilemma that is stealing from factions that may just be out to help others? Do you like butter? Then this is the mod for you! This mod is a small part of an ongoing project to get multiple factions into the game. The FTL Pirate pack adds a bunch of random ships with the garish pruple pirate paintjob to the existing NPC spawn list. These ships are all survival ready and are ready for action.

Their loot has also been carefully balanced with the base game ships, so the risk/reward will be pretty close to what you're used to. These ships have different loadouts than their rebel and federation counterparts, and are generally a little easy to steal. The pirates also don't care for boarding countermeasures, and as such you won't have to worry about your new ship blowing up or activating its gravity drives at inopportune moments.

I'll be updating this mod over time with additional FTL ships, and will be adding mod-free and other packs in the future! Have fun, let me know what you think in the comments, and enjoy blowing up those immoral pirates!

Ship Info:

Pirate Scout
Pirated federation scouting vessel. This ship has a standard armament and defensive setup, but is extremely quick and navigates the battlefield with ease.
Defense: 0.5
Offense: 2.5
Acceleration: 10
Mobility: 5
Security: 1

Federation Bomber
Pirated federation assault ship. While not particularly maneuverable, it comes with several rocket and gatling turrets. Unlike the Federation version, the pirate ship has no boarding countermeasures.
Defense: 1.5
Offense: 5
Acceleration: 9
Mobility: 5
Security: 5


Rebel Rigger
Stolen rebel drone controller and repair ship. This ship will always be escorted by drones, but otherwise is lightly armed and armored. The pirate version is less defended and less armored than the rebel variant.

Offense: 2
Acceleration: 5.5
Mobility: 8.5
Security: 2

Rebel Fighter
Commandeered rebel fighter. These agile ships are often the first to engage threats, and as such are well armed. While fighter in name, these ships are easily the size of other factions cruisers, so be careful. The pirate version lacks countermeasures and the heavier armor of the rebel variant.

Acceleration: 5.5
Mobility: 8
Security: 2

Hello.
I added the mods of the thrusters and even then the ships continue to appear without the thrusters, is there any way to solve the problem?

I took care of the problem, it is a planetless game, for i just got back into the game. I found the mods that need to be in and put them there. Thanks for responding.

Hey there! The ships should be using the orange/yellow thruster pack to give them FTL themed thrusters. Those engines are available here http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=297992434 - Let me know if this works!

If you're in a map with a planet, they sadly won't spawn in. :( Cargo ships only seem to spawn in planetless worlds

do these mods not work now that planets are out and cargo ship disabled?

If you add them to the mod list they'll start spawning in naturally as NPC ships. It seems to help if you add them to the top of the mod list (higher priority), if you have a lot of other NPC/cargo ship mods, they might be spawning instead of the pirate ships.
