CLEARING REGIONS
At the begginning of the game, you will only have access to the Regions of the Underworld. In order to unlock the Surface, you will need to meet Hermes and beat Hecate, the first Guardian of Erebus, until you receive the prophecy "Permeation of Witching-Wards", which will grant you access to the Surface.

THE UNDERWORLD

Witch of the Woods
Clear Erebus

Erebus is the first Region of the Underworld. In order to get this achievement, you must defeat its Guardian: Hecate

Witch of the Depths
Clear Oceanus

Oceanus is the second Region of the Underworld. In order to get this achievement, you must defeat its Guardian: Scylla (and the Sirens)

Witch of the Plains
Clear the Fields of Mourning

The Fields of Mourning is the third Region of the Underworld. In order to get this achievement, you must defeat its Guardian: Cerberus

Witch of the Abyss
Clear Tartarus

Tartarus is the last Region of the Underworld. In order to get this achievement, you must defeat the final Guardian: Chronos

THE SURFACE

Witch of the Outskirts
Clear the City of Ephyra

The City of Ephyra is the first Region of the Surface. In order to get this achievement, you must defeat its Guardian: Polyphemus

Witch of the Waters
Clear the Rift of Thessaly

The Rift of Thessaly is the second Region of the Surface. In order to get this achievement, you must defeat its Guardian: Eris

Witch of the Mountains
Clear Mount Olympus

Mount Olympus is the third Region of the Surface. In order to get this achievement, you must defeat its Guardian: Prometheus

Witch of the Clouds
Clear the Summit

The Summit is the last Region of the Surface. In order to get this achievement, you must defeat the final Guardian: Thyphon
PROGRESSION
So Mote It Be
Cast 50 Incantations at the Crossroads Cauldron

Once Hecate unlocks the Cauldron, you will be able to perform different Incantations, which will be provided by different characters as you progress through the story. To cast Incantations, you will need different Reagents, which can be obtained in various ways:

  • Gathering resources in the Underworld and Surface using the Gathering Tools
  • Defeating the Guardians of each Region
  • Brewing reagents in the Cauldron
  • Purchasing items from the Wretched Broker
  • Completing Chaos Trials

Hand of the Fates
Fulfill 60 Minor Prophecies

You can find these Prophecies in the Fated List, which will appear at the Crossroads after you complete the incantation "Fated Intervention".

Giving Back
Earn 10,000 Kudos

Kudos can be obtained by trading resources with the Wretched Broker after casting the incantation "Earthly Fortune".

Best ways to obtain Kudos:
  • The Rubbish that Eris drops at the Crossroads is almost exclusively used to trade for Kudos (you will only need 3 of them for an incantation at the Cauldron, but the rest has no other uses) (1 Kudos per Rubbish)

  • Once you've cast the Incantation "Gathering of Subterranean Riches" at the Cauldron, you will be able to obtain Gemstones after defeating Guardians with Nocturnal Arms with Grave Thirst (5 Kudos per Gemstone)

  • If you've already unlocked and upgraded all your Arcana, I recommend you trade Psyche and Ashes for Kudos, since they practically have no other uses (you can get a bunch of Psyche by using Frinos, buying it with Bones, or using Obol Points)

  • Otherwise, if you feel like you have a lot of spare resouces, you can always trade some for Kudos with the Wretched Broker

Denizens of the Depths
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Denizens of the Depths'

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you will need to fish 20 different types of Fish. Note that you can find different species in the different Regions of both the Underworld and the Surface. A good way to do this is by bringing along the Animal Familiar Toula, since she increases the chances of Fishing Points and can automatically catch the Fish.

Requirements:
  • Obtain the Rod of Fishing: This is one of the Gathering Tools at the Silver Pool, obtained after casting the Incantation "Night's Craftwork" at the Cauldron.

  • Talk to Poseidon: Keep talking to him until he gives you the Prophecy. This can take a while since he might prioritize other main story dialogues first. By the time he gave it to me, it was immediately fulfilled.

MAIN STORY AND EPILOGUE
Death to Chronos
Complete the lifelong task of the Princess of the Underworld

You will get this achievement for completing the game's main story, so it requires quite a few steps and a lot of effort. Long story short, you will need to beat both Chronos and Typhon multiple times in order to cast two Incantations that can put an end to both of them.

Steps to get this achievement:

  1. Defeat Chronos a total of 6 times. After each sucess, you will obtain 1 Zodiac Sand and be able to talk to Zagreus until he agrees to give you Gigaros
  2. Defeat Typhon a total of 4 times. After each sucess, you will obtain 1 Void Lens

These first two steps can be done simultaneously.

  3. Cast the Incantation "Disintegration of Monstrosity" (Requires Gigaros, 4 Void Lens and 1 Zodiac Sand)
  4. Defeat Typhon a 5th time to obtain Entropy
  5. Cast the Incantation "Dissolution of Time" (Requires 5 Zodiac Sands and 1 Entropy)
  6. Defeat Chronos one final time

Golden Age
Reach the Epilogue of the Story.

This achievement involves finding the Three Fates after you've completed the main story. You will receive a message from them in the Fated List titled "Melinoë, Seek Us" (similar to ones they deliver earlier on), where you will be asked to talk to different characters in order to learn more about them (you will need to be patient with the RNG in order for these NPCs to say the dialogue you need, but just keep talking to them)

Who does the Prophecy refer to?
  • He who is our Emissary: Moros (Found at the Crossroads)
  • They who created the world: Chaos (Found in Chaos Gates)
  • He who cast us out: Chronos (Found between Erebus and Oceanus)
  • She who trained you: Hecate (Found at the Crossroads and as the Guardian in Erebus)
  • He who rebels against the gods: Prometheus (Guardian of Mount Olympus)
  • He who labors for the gods: Heracles (Can randomly show up in the City of Ephyra, the Rift of Thessaly, or Mount Olympus)

Once you've completed this Prophecy, they will send you the final message titled "Melinoë, Find Us" with instructions on how to meet them. You will need to activate Moros' Keepsake in Oceanus 3 times and then let yourself get killed.

This one is a bit tricky, but luckily there is a Chaos Trial that makes it a lot easier.

TRIAL OF DOOM

In my opinion, this is the best way to fulfill this Prophecy.

Access this Trial through the Pitch-Black Stone, which will send you to Oceanus with the Engraved Pin. In the first 3 Chambers, try to kill as many foes as possible, but leave at least one of them alive. Let youself reach 0 HP and the Engraved Pin will activate, giving you 10 seconds to clear the Encounter. Kill all remaining foes (which should be quick if you left few alive) and move on to the next Chamber. Repeat this process 3 consecutive times, but in the 4th chamber, when the Pin activates, don't kill anyone and let the timer run out.

Once you do this, the prophecy should be fulfilled.

Disclaimer: It is possible to get the achievement and for the cutscene to trigger by dying on the 3rd chamber instead of the 4th (I personally got it after triggering the Pin the third time), but these are simply the instructions stated on the Fated List

ARCANA
Mind for Magick
Gain 30 Grasp at the Altar of Ashes

You must use Psyche at the Altar of Ashes to increase your Grasp. In order to collect Psyche (this can be done in any Region as long as you find Lost Shades), you must first unlock the Gathering Tool called the Tablet of Peace by doing the Incantation "Night's Craftwork" at the Cauldron.

How to get Psyche?: Lost Shades may appear in any encounter in the Underworld or the Surface. You must complete a mini-game to collect the Psyche from them with the Tablet of Peace. The Familiar Frinos can automatically collect Psyche, as well as increase the chances for Lost Shades to appear.

Breadth of Knowledge
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Breadth of Knowledge'

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you must unlock all Arcana Cards at the Altar of Ashes. As you unlock cards, more will be revealed. There's a total of 25 Arcana Cards.

Resources needed to unlock Arcana Cards:
  • Ashes: This is the main resource and can be obtained as a reward in different Regions, bought from the Wretched Broker using Bones or requested using Obol Points.

  • Guardian Rewards: Some cards will require rewards from defeating the Guardians of each Region (both Underworld and Surface)

Unassailable Insight
Fully upgrade all Arcana

In order to level up your Arcana Cards at the Altar of Ashes you must first complete the Incantation "Consecration of Ashes". To upgrade your Arcana you will need Moon Dust (which can be bought from the Wretched Broker, requested using Obol Points, or by crafting it at the Cauldron) as well as some other resources.

Arcana of the Ages
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Arcana of the Ages'

To fulfill this Prophecy, you must defeat Chronos, the final Guardian of Tartarus, at least once with each Arcana Card equipped. You can check the Prophecy in the Fated List as a guide to see which ones you haven't won with yet.

Tips for getting this achievement:

The toughest Arcana Card to do here is going to be Judgement, which can only be used as long as you have no more than 3 other cards active, but there's an easy way to get around this:

  1. Activate Judgement and choose 3 cards you consider indispensible (I personally go for Persistence, Death, and whatever else comes in handy) and equip Circe's Keepsake, the Crystal Figurine

  2. After you defeat the Guardian of Erebus, Judgement will activate 5 of your inactive Arcana Cards (if you have it at max level) and the Figurine will activate 2 more (you can change your Keepsake at this point)

  3. Judgment will keep activating inactive Arcana Cards after you defeat the Guardians of the following Regions. This way, you can make it all the way to the final fight with practically a full loadout

Natural Talent
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Natural Talent'

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you will need to beat Hecate, the first Guardian of Erebus, while having no Arcana Cards equipped. This Prophecy unlocks after you've unlocked all Arcana Cards and you trigger a dialogue about it with Hecate right before fighting her.

You can easily do this in the "Trial of Humility", available in the Pitch-Black Stone

TRIAL OF HUMILITY

This Trial will require you to complete Erebus with the Witch's Staff (Aspect of Melinoë) and you won't have any Arcana (basically how you started the game). Descura will keep the Rank you have it at in the Silver Pool, so you can try to level it up before. Once you defeat the Guardian, you'll return to shadow and get the achievement.

By attempting the achievement in this Trial, you can avoid doing a full run with no Arcana, but in case you want to try that, there is a way:

Recommendations (full run):
  • Nocturnal Arm: Use a weapon you're comfortable with and/or one that does not depend on Omega Moves (Revaal is a good option). Try to level them up first

  • Familiar: You can use Frinos if you need more HP or Toula if you need a Death Defiance. Otherwise, choose whoever you like the most

  • Keepsake: This won't help you during the fight, but if you don't want to continue the full run with no Arcana or waste a run, you can use the Crystal Figurine to activate some Cards after you win. You might get lucky and get Judgement
NOCTURNAL ARMS
The Arms of Night
Fulfill the Prophecy 'The Arms of Night'

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you must unlock all the Nocturnal Arms at the Silver Pool. There is a total of 6 Nocturnal Arms.

The Unseen Sentinel
Fulfill the Prophecy 'The Unseen Sentinel'

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you must unlock all the Aspects of each Nocturnal Arm. Every Nocturnal Arm has a total of 4 Aspects (3 normal and 1 hidden). Once you've unlocked them, you will need to spend resources at the Silver Pool to actually obtain them.

How to unlock each Aspect?:
  • Aspect of Melinoë: Every weapon has the same first Aspect, so you will unlock it as soon as you unlock the weapon itself.

  • "Aspects of Night and Darkness": You will need to complete this Incantation in order two unlock the second and third Aspects of each weapon.

  • Hidden Aspects: In order to unlock the Hidden Aspect of each weapon, you will need different Waking Phrases provided by NPCs. As a rule, you can obtain each Waking Phrase from a previous bearer of each weapon, so you can check the other Aspects as a guide.

Requirement: In order to receive the Waking Phrase for a specific weapon, you will need to have at least one other Aspect of that weapon maxed out (the Aspect of Melinoë doesn't count)

Who to get each Waking Phrase form?
  • Hidden Aspect for The Witch's Staff (Descura): You can get this by talking to Circe

  • Hidden Aspect for The Sister Blades (Lim & Oros): You can get this by talking to Artemis

  • Hidden Aspect for The Umbral Flames (Ygnium): You can get this by talking to Moros

  • Hidden Aspect for The Moonstone Axe (Zorephet): You can get this by talking to Charon

  • Hidden Aspect for The Argent Skull (Revaal): You can get this by talking to Medea

  • Hidden Aspect for The Black Coat (Xinth): You can get this by talking to Selene

Sword of the Night
Fulfill the Prophecy 'The Unseen Sentinel'

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you must defeat the final Guardian of the Surface, Typhon, which each of the Nocturnal Arms at least once, regardless of the Aspect. Try to use fast and/or ranged Aspects, since the Surface run is a bit harder.

Recommended Aspects for each Nocturnal Arm (Surface run): (Disclaimer: These are my personal favorites, I'm no expert)
  • Descura: Aspect of Circe; Aspect of Momus

  • Lim & Oros: Aspect of Melinoë; Aspect of the Morrigan (High damage but can be slow)

  • Ygnium: Aspect of Moros; Aspect of Supay

  • Zorephet: Aspect of Thanatos; Aspect of Charon (Get a good Cast and increase Special speed)

  • Revaal: Aspect of Medea; Aspect of Persephone
(In my opinion, Revaal is the easiest weapon for the Surface, so any Aspect can work)

  • Xinth: Aspect of Nyx; Aspect of Melinoë

Bearing Dark Gifts
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Bearing Dark Gifts'

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you have to complete a full run (by defeating the final Guardian), of either the Underworld or Surface, at least once with each Aspect of each Nocturnal Arm. That means you will need at least a total of 24 wins.

(I recommend you take a shot at this once you're confident in fighting the final Guardians and have had a couple of wins already. I got it done after I finished the Epilogue)

Recommendation: It's easier to do this by simply doing Underworld runs, since they are easier. If you want to do Surface runs, try doing them with Revaal or with fast/ranged Aspects. If you're going to use Hidden Aspects, I recommend you go to the Underworld, since there is another Prophecy that requires you to reach the final confrontation there with each of them.

KEEPSAKES
Sentimental Value
Collect every Keepsake

Keepsakes are items that can be equipped in your loadout and which will grant you certain benefits during your runs. They are gifted by NPCs after you've gifted them Nectar for the first time (in most cases; there are a couple of exceptions). If you are gifting Nectar through a Boon make sure to do it before you accept it, otherwise the option will dissapear.

How to obtain all Keepsakes (33 TOTAL):
    The Unseen
  • Hecate, Odysseus, Schelemeus, Dora, Moros, Nemesis (Found at the Crossroads)
  • Charon (Found in Charon's Shop Chambers in any Region)
  • Circe (Found in her special Chamber in the Rift of Thessaly)
  • Medea (Found in her special Chamber in the City of Ephyra)
  • Selene (Can be gifted through her Boon found in any Region)
  • Icarus (Can randomly show up at the Rift of Thessaly)

    The Olympians
  • Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Hestia, Hephaestus, Apollo, Hermes, Aphrodite, Ares (Can be gifted through their Boons found in any Region; Note: Ares will only show up once you've fought the final Guardian at the Surface)
  • Artemis (Can randomly show up in any Region)
  • Athena (Can randomly show up at Mount Olympus)
  • Dionysus (Found in his special Chamber in Mount Olympus)

    Others
  • Arachne (Found in her special Chamber in Erebus)
  • Narcissus (Found in his special Chamber in Oceanus)
  • Echo (Found in her special Chamber in the Fields of Mourning; Note: You will first need to speak to her and then you will be able to give her Nectar)
  • Heracles (Can randomly show up in the City of Ephyra)
  • Eris (Found at the Crossroads)
  • Chaos (Found in Chaos Gates in any Region)

    Endgame (SPOILERS!)
  • Hades and Persephone (Found in their special room in Tartarus after you've completed the game's main story)
  • Chronos (Found in the area between Erebus and Oceanus; can only be gifted after you've completed the game's main story)
  • Zagreus (This one is a special case since it's the only one where you don't have to gift him Nectar. You will be able to find him only after you've finished the main story. Look for a symbol of black parchment over a Charon's Shop Chamber. You will get the option to accept an Infernal Contract and fight Zagreus in Elysium for the title of the Champion of Elysium. After you beat him twice, he will give you the Keepsake)

Born to Win
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Born to Win'

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you will need to complete a full run (Underworld or Surface) with Chaos' Keepsake, the Transcendent Embryo (you cannot change it at any point). I recommend you use it at max level.

Some people have had trouble triggering Chaos' dialogue where they give you the Prophecy, but just keep meeting with them in Chaos Gates until they bring up the Embryo.
CHAOS TRIALS
Infinite Possibility
Clear 20 Chaos Trials

In order to unlock Chaos Trials, you will need to first unlock the Pitch-Black Stone, which can be found next to Schelemeus in the Training Grounds. You will need to enter Chaos Gates (found randomly in any Region) a number of times, speak to Chaos, and give them at least one Nectar. You will then be able to cast the incantation "Abyssal Insight", which will grant access to the Stone.

Chaos Trials will unlock as you unlock different Aspects of the Nocturnal Arms and will require you to clear a specific Region with a pre-made loadout.

Chaos in Hell
Clear the 'Great Chaos Below' Trial

Once you've made enough progress in the game, the Pitch-Black Stone will reveal 4 new Trials: Great Chaos Above, Great Chaos Below, Chaos Above, and Chaos Below.

The Great Chaos Below Trial you need for this achievement involves succeding on a full Underworld run with a fully randomized loadout and 20 Fear with randomized Vows. Yes, it will take a few tries.

What gets randomized? (TL;DR: EVERYTHING)
  • Nocturnal Arm and Aspect: They will keep the Rank you have them at, so try to level them up

  • Keepsake: This will change as you move Regions, but if the Keepsake has an ongoing effect, you will keep it (Eg. If you get Eris' keepsake in Erebus, you will get a second one as you enter Oceanus, but Eris' Keepsake and its effect will remain until the end of the run as well)

  • Arcana: This can also be affected by the Vow of Void that limits your Grasp. If you get lucky, you may start with Judgment or get Circe's Keepsake at some point

  • Familiar: They will keep the Rank you have them at, so try to level them up

  • Vows: This is the hardest part, so if you think you can't win with the Vows you got, you can always let yourself get killed and try again to get a different loadout.

How to unlock the Great Chaos Below Trial?

I'm not sure what the exact requirements are, but since you get a fully randomized loadout, you will at least need to have every option unlocked:

  • Unlock all Aspects
  • Unlock all Keepsakes
  • Unlock all Arcana
  • Unlock all Familiars

You will probably also need to have done both Underworld and Surface runs, have won with a certain amount of Fear, among other things. This was actually the last achievement I got done.

Improbable Outcomes
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Improbable Outcomes'

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you must win 2 Chaos Below or Chaos Above Trials in a row. You can do both or the same one twice, just as long as you get 2 successive wins.

These Trials work the same as the Great Chaos Trials (with a fully randomized loadout) but luckily you do them with 0 Fear.
RELATIONSHIPS
In Hades II, Melinoë can offer different gifts to NPCs in order to bond with them, which in turn will unlock more dialogues and sometimes lead to story progression.

GIFTS:

  • Nectar: Can be gifted to any NPC (Found throughout runs, bought from Wretched Broker or crafted at the Cauldron)

  • Bath Salts: Can only be gifted to NPCs at the Crossroads (Bought from Wretched Broker or crafted at the Cauldron)

  • Twin Lures: Can only be gifted to NPCs at the Crossroads (Bought from Wretched Broker or crafted at the Cauldron)

  • Ambrosia: Can be gifted to any NPC (Bought from Wretched Broker or crafted at the Cauldron)

Note: You will only be able to gift Ambrosia once you've reached a certain amount of hearts with characters after giving them enough gifts. A certain dialogue has to happen to unlock their locked heart, which will allow you to gift them Ambrosia (Note that NPCs at the Crossroads will accept it before the locked heart, but you will still need to unlock it to fully bond with them)

Soothing Soak
Take one of your comrades to the Hot Springs

In order to unlock the Hot Springs, you will need to cast the Incantation "Rite of Vapor-Cleansing" at the Cauldron. You will then be able to gift Bath Salts to different NPCs at the Crossroads. You can check the Book of Shadows to know who will accept them, since some characters will require more hearts than others.

Who can I give Bath Salts to?
  • Dora
  • Hecate
  • Odysseus
  • Moros
  • Nemesis
  • Eris
  • Icarus

Catch of the Night
Take one of your comrades to the Fishing Pier

In order to unlock the Fishing Pier, you will need to cast the incantation "Rite of River-Fording" at the Cauldron. You will then be able to gift Twin Lures to different NPCs at the Crossroads. You can check the Book of Shadows to know who will accept them, since some characters will require more hearts than others

Who can I give Twin Lures to?
  • Dora
  • Hecate
  • Odysseus
  • Moros
  • Nemesis
  • Eris
  • Icarus

Ambrosia for Two
Take one of your comrades to the Taverna

In order to unlock the Taverna, you will need to cast the incantation "Rite of Social Solidarity" at the Cauldron. You will then be able to gift Ambrosia to different NPCs at the Crossroads. You can check the Book of Shadows to know who will accept it, since some characters will require more hearts than others

Who can I give Ambrosia to?
  • Dora
  • Hecate
  • Odysseus
  • Moros
  • Nemesis
  • Eris
  • Icarus

Close Comrades
Forge a bond with 10 comrades

In order to Bond with a character, you will need to keep giving them gifts and progress through their story until you can unlock their locked heart (you can check your progress in the Book of Shadows once you've cast the incantation "Empath's Intuition"). You will either need to get all their hearts or reach a point in their story until you forge a Bond with them.

Exception (ENDGAME SPOILER!): Zagreus is the only character that doesn't require gifts. In order to forge a Bond with him, you will have to beat him a certain amount of times in Elysium (You will get access to this after completing the main story. You can find him through Charon's Shops when his Infernal Contract shows up)

TIP: Don't be like me when I played Hades and don't hoard your gifts, especially your Nectar. You will find a bunch of it and you can always buy one a day from the Wretched Broker. Give them out as soon as someone who will accept them shows up. Remember you can't gift the same person twice during the same night.
FAMILIARS
Familiar Confidant
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Familiar Confidant'

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you will simply need to talk to Frinos, the Toad, a total of 5 times after a run. Whenever you complete a run, you will return to shadow right next to Frinos and you will be able to confide in him.

Animal Whisperer
Recruit all Animal Familiars

Once Hecate gives you the incantation "Faith of Familiar Spirits", you will be able to give Witch's Delight (which can be crafted in the Cauldron) to animals you find in different regions so they can become your Familiars. Familiars can be brought along on runs to give you different benefits.

Familiars and where to find them:
  • Frinos (Toad): Can be found next to Melinoë's tent at the Crossroads
  • Raki (Raven): Can be found in fountain rooms in Erebus
  • Toula (Cat): Can be found at the docks before entering the Rift of Thessaly
  • Hecuba (Hound): Can be found in Echo's special room in the Fields of Mourning
  • Gale (Polecat): Can be found in Charon's Shop in Mount Olympus right before the Guardian room

Beast Master
Fully upgrade all Animal Familiars

You will be able to upgrade your Animal Familiars and their abilities at the Silver Pool by gifting them Witch's Delight. Each Familiar has 3 abilities that can be maxed out at Rank III. This means that you will need a total of 9 Witch's Delight to fully upgrade a Familiar (and a total of 45 Witch's Delight to fully upgrade all of them)

Where to get Witch's Delight?"

Apart from the ones you get from the Incantations related to Familiars, you can craft Witch's Delight at the Cauldron or you can sometimes find it as a reward in either Tartarus or the Summit while playing with at least 12 Fear after you've cast the Incantation "Bounties of the Infinite Abyss"

Unfamiliar Forms
Alter the appearance of each Animal Familiar

In order to get this achievement, you will need to level up your Familiars and deepen your relationship with Circe until she gives you the Incantation "Alteration of Familiar Forms". Once you've cast this at the Cauldron, you will be able to spend Kudos and other resources at the Silver Pool to change the appearance of each of your Familiars. You must change all 5 of them at least once.

CHARACTER PROPHECIES
These achievements will require you to fulfill the Prophecies connected to certain character's stories and can therefore take some time.

Silk and Spitefulness
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Silk and Spitefulness'

This Prophecy is connected to Arachne's story.

Steps to fulfill this Prophecy:
  1. Find Arachne in her special Chamber in Erebus and keep talking to her and giving her Nectar so she tells you more about her story

  2. Talk to Hecate at the Crossroads until you start talking about Arachne's curse

  3. Talk to Athena in Mount Olympus until Melinoë brings up Arachne's story and she agrees to meet.

If you want to speed this up and not go all the way to Mount Olympus, you can use the Gorgon Amulet Keepsake to meet with her in any Region (Remember you will need to have no Death Defiances in order for her to appear)

  4. You will get the prophecy "Silk and Spitefulness", which will require you to bring the Gorgon Amulet Keepsake to Arachne to fulfill the prophecy and get the achievement

Voice and Vanity
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Voice and Vanity'

This Prophecy is connected to Narcissus' and Echo's stories.

Steps to fulfill this Prophecy:
  1. Talk to Narcissus in his special Chamber in Oceanus and to Echo in her special Chamber in the Fields of Mourning to progress through their dialogues. I recommend gifting them Nectar whenever you can.

  2. Narcissus' pond will become dirty. Keep talking to him and he will agree to meet Echo. You will find them together in the Fields of Mourning.

  3. You will need to cast the incantation "Purification of Crystal Clarity" in order to clean Narcissus' pond

  4. Talk to them again to complete their story, fulfill the prophecy and get the achievement.

Haunted by the Past
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Haunted by the Past'

This Prophecy is connected to Dora's story.

Steps to fulfill this Prophecy:
  1. Speak to Dora as much as you can at Melinoë's tent in the Crossroads and keep gifting her Nectar to unlock more dialogues with her.

  2. Fight the Guardian Prometheus in Mount Olympus until Melinoë mentions him to Dora

  3. Keep talking to both of them to unlock more dialogues until you are able to cast the Incantation "Return of Latent Memories"

  4. Talk to Dora again to complete her story, fulfill the prophecy and get the achievement.

Unfinished Business
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Unfinished Business'

This Prophecy is connected to Odysseus' story. This will require you to meet a total of 4 characters: Odysseus at the Crossroads, Polyphemus in the City of Ephyra (Guardian), Circe in the Rift of Thessaly, and Scylla in Oceanus (Guardian).

Steps to fulfill this Prophecy:
  1. Talk to Odysseus at the Crossroads and gift him 1 Nectar to obtain his Keepsake, the Knuckle Bones. Keep talking with him and giving him gifts to deepen your relationship with him.

  2. Face the Guardian Polyphemus in the City of Ephyra and talk to Odysseus at the Crossroads to obtain the prophecy "Nobody but Nobody", which will require you to beat Polyphemus while using the Knuckle Bones

  3. Talk to Odysseus until you get the Prophecy "Unfinished Business", which will ask you to talk to 3 of Odysseus acquaintances, Polyphemus, Circe, and Scylla, while having the Knuckle Bones equipped. Once Odysseus get a chance to reunite with them, the prophecy will be fulfilled

Soundest of Sleepers
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Soundest of Sleepers'

This Prophecy is connected to Hypnos' story. Note that, although you can progress through his story throughout the game, you will only be able to complete it after finishing the main story.

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you will need to wake Hypnos up from his slumber by casting different Incantations and by giving him Dream Vapors.

Steps to fulfill this Prophecy:
  1. Give Hypnos 2 Nectar at the Crossroads (you will need to do this in two different nights)

  2. Harvest at least one Poppy. You can obtain the Seeds in Tartarus. To boost you chances of finding one, you can bring your Animal Familiar Hecuba

  3. Cast the Incantation "End to Deepest Slumber" which will grant you 1 Dream Vapor. Give it to Hypnos

  4. Find Medea in her special Chamber in the City of Ephyra until she provides the incantation "End to Dearest Slumber". This will grant you a stronger Dream Vapor which you must give to Hypnos

  5. Find Medea once again in the City of Ephyra to receive the final Incantation, "End to Dumbest Slumber", which will grant you the final Dream Vapor you can use to wake Hypnos up and fulfill the prophecy.

To cast this last incantation you will need a special resource: Soot. You can only obtain this item during the game's Epilogue from Hades, who can be found in his special Chamber in Tartarus

OATH OF THE UNSEEN
Getting these achievements will require the Oath of the Unseen in order to spread Fear during your runs. To get access to this feature, you will first need to defeat Chronos, the final Guardian of Tartarus, once. Then, the Oath will appear in the Training Grounds next to the exit gates.

Unrivaled Prowess
Fulfill the Prophecy 'Unrivaled Prowess'

In order to fulfill this Prophecy, you must face the Guardian of each Region (both Underworld and Surface) while having their Vow of Rivals active. This Vow will increase the difficulty of the fight and add new mechanics (it's the equivalent of Extreme Measures in Hades).

Once you defeat the Guardians of Erebus and the City of Ephyra with their Vow of Rivals, you will be able to unlock an Incantation to unlock the Guardians of the seconds Regions, and so on until you unlock the final Guardians.

To complete this achievement, you will need to actually defeat the first 3 Guardians of both the Underworld and Surface with their Vow of Rivals, but luckily you only need to make it into the fight with the final Guardians to fulfill it (defeating them is thankfully not a requirement).

Behold Night's Champion
Earn the first Gift of the Veil
Mercy, Night's Executioner
Earn the second Gift of the Veil

After having done runs in both the Underworld and the Surface and unlocking the Oath, Schelemeus will present the 3 veiled gifts that you can earn by succeeding on runs with a certain amount of Fear.

How to obtain each gift?
  • First Gift of the Veil: Succeed on an Underworld run with 8 Fear and a Surface run with 6 Fear

  • Second Gift of the Veil: Succeed on an Underworld run with 16 Fear and a Surface run with 12 Fear

What Vows to pick? (These are my personal favs to make my life easier):
  • Vow of Wards: Free Fear in my opinion. Some AOE damage can get rid of the Barriers quickly.

  • Vow of Fangs: 2 Ranks can be a bit much, but at least one is not that hard in my opinion.

  • Vow of Debt: Once you get used to hoarding your Gold and only spending it at the end of each Region if you need to, this is free Fear.

  • Vow of Forfeit: One Rank of this is perfectly fine. You can still get a perfectly good loadout.

  • Vow of Void: This one can be trickier, but if you're comfortable using my Judgment/Crystal Figurine build (check the achievement "Arcana of the Ages"), you can use up to 3 Ranks of this Vow (I went with 2)

  • Vow of Hubris: This one is good with Nocturnal Arms that don't use that many Omega Moves (Eg. It barely affected me with Revaal since I practically never use them)

  • Vow of Rivals: This one is up to whether you find these fights difficult. I personally avoided them because I suck at them, but they do add a lot of Fear.

MISCELLANEOUS ACHIEVEMENTS
Sheep's Clothing
Slay a Sister of the Dead while afflicted with Twilight Curse

You can get this achievement during the Guardian fight with Hecate in Erebus. At one point during the fight, she will summon her Sisters of the Dead and cast Twilight Curse, sending out an orb that will morph you into an animal if you touch it. While morphed, you will only be able to run and bite for very little damage.

This achievement is easier than it sounds, and you won't even need to attack them yourself.

2 easy ways to achieve this:
  • If you've already cast the incantation "Necromatic Influence", you can simply sprint though the Lone Shades at the edge of the map so they can attack (make sure not to do this earlier in the fight so you have some left)

  • If you already have your Animal Familiars, some can do this for you. The safest bet and my personal favorite is Toula. Just sprint through her and she will attack.

Breaking Up the Band
Use Night Bloom to raise a Siren

You can get this achievement during the Guardian fight with Scylla and the Sirens in Oceanus. This will require you to previously acquire the Hex "Night Bloom" from Selene, which lets you raise your most recently slayed foe to fight for you.

After defeating either Roxy (Drums) or Jetty (Guitar), activate your Hex (which should probably already be charged) and they will show up again and fight alongside you (this will also unlock some pretty funny dialogues)

Fair Fight
Earn 1,000 Gold by competing against Nemesis

This achievement is rather simple, but takes some time, since you will need to wait for Nemesis to keep showing up during Encounters. She will sometimes appear and challenge you to kill more Foes than her in exchange for some Gold. Just go crazy and go fast and after you've beat her quite a few times, you will get this achievement.

Dressed to Kill
Reach the final confrontation in an Arachne outfit

This achievement sounds rough but I promise you it can be done. This will require you to reach the Guardian fight with Chronos in Tartarus while still wearing one of Arachne's Dresses (Note that it doesn't require you to kill him. As soon as you enter the fight, you should get the achievement if you have the dress).

Arachne's Dresses will grant you Armor (that work like temporary hit points), so the only way to do this is to never take enough damage so that your Armor breaks.

Tips to get this achievement:
  • Pick one of Arachne's Dresses with the highest Armor. Eg: Onyx Dress (+60); Moonlight Dress (+55); Emerald Dress (+50)

  • Use a fast or ranged Nocturnal Arm to avoid taking too much damage, or choose the weapon you're most confident with. Revaal is a pretty good pick in my opinion.

  • Equip Arachne's Keepsake, the Silken Sash, which will grant you more Armor as you exit Encounters if you still have some left. Ideally, you would need to have the Keepsake maxed out

  • You can get more Armor from Charon's Shops or you can sometimes find some in the Fields of Mourning as extra rewards.

  • Hephaestus' Boons: This here is the key to getting this achievement. Try finding Hephaestus in order to receive his Boons that grant you more Armor (you can always activate Arcana Cards that let you alter rewards or reroll Boons to increase your chances)

    Boon recommendations:

HEAVY METAL: Grants you some Armor and you deal more damage based on your Armor.

TRUSTY SHIELD: Grants you some Armor when you enter a Location but you Prime 30 Magick.

SECURITY SYSTEM: Get temporary Armor for 7 seconds at the start of an Encounter. At higher Rarities and Level you get a lot of Armor, so use those 7 seconds to go crazy and kill as many foes as you can. If you get hit, it usually won't be enought to break or event put a dent in your actual Armor.

Other than these tips, just try to play it as safely as possible. If you can make it to the final fight with at least 1 Armor Point, your dress will remain intact. Good luck!

Elysian Glory
Prevail in the Contest of Champions

In order to get this achievement, you will need to defeat Zagreus in Elysium.

You will only have access to this after you've completed the main story. Check for Charon's Shop Chambers during your runs. They will sometimes have a small icon at the top indicating that you will find the Infernal Contact inside, which, once accepted, will transport you to Elysium to fight Zagreus.

If you manage to prevail, every Charon's Shop Chamber ahead of you will have a free item for you to grab. If you are defeated, you will return to the Crossroads and the run will be over.

Tips to win the fight:
Zagreus hits and he hits HARD. Keep moving away from him or hide behind pillars to avoid his attacks. Ranged weapons are going to be your best shot at winning this. Look for small openings to hit him and then quickly get away again. Eventually he will go down. Try using your Familiar Toula to attack for you, use powerful Casts or any type of DOT (Note: Remember he has two phases, so the fight can take a while)

Goddess of Nightmares
Earn all other Achievements

Pretty self explanatory. Congrats if you managed to get this and I hope this guide helped a little! :)
Notes
I hope this guide helped. Please let me know if you have any questions or doubts (or if you find any mistakes). Since I've already gotten all achievements, I'd be happy to provide any help :)

Have fun playing!

I got the prophecy and fulfilled it without having done all Chaos Trials (I had a bunch left), so I'm not sure that's a requirement. I got the prophecy as soon as the randomized trials appeared in the stone. I'm not sure what you can do to trigger it, sorry, but some people have mentioned doing a full normal run to try to "reset" and some have tried talking to Chaos inside a trial and gifting him Ambrosia for some reason. Do you have him at full hearts? And have you done the Born to Win achievement?
I can't get the improbable outcomes prophecy to appear. I already did the chaos in hell achievement and did two chaos below trials back to back. But I didn't get the achievement, I guess because I technically didn't fulfill the prophecy because I didn't have the prophecy in the first place. Any idea how to make the prophecy appear? Tomorrow I'm going to see if clearing every other chaos trial makes it appear as a last-ditch effort. There are still a few random chaos trials I haven't touched yet so I'm hoping doing them makes the prophecy appear.....

Nice guide! One correction: The Born to Win prophecy can be completed via Surface clear as well (in addition to via Underworld clear, which you already stated)

@ Radagast the Brown

I’ve been trying to find whether or not it’s possible for Judgement to activate some 0 cost Aracana, but I’m not sure (although I think I remember it working when I played). Either way, I’ll change the description in the guide to avoid confusion while I test it out. Thank you so much for letting me know! :bearshy:

- Judgment will keep activating inactive Arcana Cards after you defeat the Guardians of the following Regions. This way, you can make it all the way to the final fight will all 25 Arcana Cards active.

Is this really possible even though all the 0 cost arcanas have specific requirements to activate?
