How to block Amazon Games on Steam
By Mondseele
After a major update Sale, Amazon Games cheated a lot of people by not telling them that they dont update the game anymore. They waited long enough for not giving refunds for the first hype sales and Seasonpasses.
"Hey, we'll take the game to the grave, but until then, you can play it".

Now you might be thinking, “I don't want to buy any more Amazon games! But what if I accidentally do? Oh dear, if only there was a guide to prevent me from doing that.”

Don't despair, you've found the guide.

Phew! Ok ok you made it and don't worry, all that is totaly fine. For companies like Amazon Games, the only customers are shareholders. We gamers are just cash cows to keep the real customers happy.

Our money is better spent with AA and indie companies, and there are so many good games out there that we don't need to rely on companies like Amazon or EA.

So or so, blocking Amazon here gives you a good feeling and that counts. :lunar2020ratinablanket:

If it were as simple as you instruct. Unscrupulous publishers, when they see that they have lost the trust of their customers, start selling products under different company names. I once played a new MMO game and found out that it was the one of the hated, despised publishers only from the donation receipt.

You can click on the cog on the top right of the Amazon Games Page and "Ignore this creator". It should also block all future games then.
Astra 30 Oct @ 2:05pm
iirc at the top of the page there is a gear icon where you can ignore them as a publisher as a while and steam wont recommend any of their games to you, now or future titles.
