Description
CE-Only mod. Add Spike-SR and Spike-LR2.

DMS(The Dead Man's Switch) series compatible.

This is a lightweight mod that allows players to easily acquire top-attack trajectory guided weapons - the Spike-SR and Spike-LR2. You can get HEAT and Semi-Armor-Piercing High Explosive(SAPHE) ammunition.

The Spike-SR is a single-use, top-attack guided weapon for individual soldiers, weighing only 10kg. The Spike-LR2 has greater power and longer range but requires a fixed emplacement for operation.

In-game, the Spike missile tends to target higher body parts on its target. The top-attack altitude will naturally vary with the distance to your target. The farther the target, the higher the missile will fly.

What? You're asking me why there's no Spike-ER, or even Spike-NLOS? First of all, such beyond-visual-range combat weapons require corresponding DLL functionalities, and we currently don't have the bandwidth to develop them.

Therefore, we've released a lightweight mod first to independently test the new curved-fire guided ammunition. Additionally, ultra-long-range beyond-visual-range strike weapons might not offer strong gameplay value in RimWorld.

Enemies have a small chance of carrying a Spike-SR missile launcher. Good luck.

@偷鹤小队的未来文盲 暂时不会有,因为我个人只玩CE环境,而且我没那么多精力去维护我不熟悉的平衡环境。

再有就是dll方面有更重要的事情要做,现在DsW-4在处理CE制导的功能迁移。

@Vril The Vehicle Framework is now in an unstable state, so there is absolutely no hope for vehicle attacks in the near future.

They fixed a bug related to the chambering animation in the CE environment, but this introduced a new bug (issues when switching ammunition types for vehicles in the CE environment). As a result, the RimThunder series is unwilling to update.

Are there any mods that add tanks/apcs to enemy factions? Without these, this mod is pretty overkill. Nevertheless its very cool.

unfortunately I haven't ever seen any detailed info on the Rafael Spike either.

The US Naval Spike was made by Air Systems Command Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, but they let a company named "Small Missile Company" take over and its "modular" so the details are what the customer asks for (if they ever get a customer). Its been in development for over 20 years now.

@Benjamin Proverb Test If you can find more information, it would make things much easier for me—such as the RHA penetration data and velocity of the missile launched by the Mini-Spike. I simply can't find any details about these.
