Description

Have you ever played Psionics and thought "Man, I really need more randomness so I can't play optimally"? Well, if so, this mod will be perfect for you!
With 5 new minor patrons that can take the spot of one of the 4 minor patrons you encounter each game, this mod brings the total minor patrons for each shroud corner from 2 to 3*.

These mysterious entities include:

The Spireless Tower
The Empty Maw
The Silent Renegade
The Persistent Flame
The Twinning Songs

All have an associated edict.

*One of the corners have 4 possible patrons.

FAQ

Does this mod increase the number of minor patrons you can encounter?
No, you can still only meet 4 minor patrons each game.

Am I guaranteed to meet one of the new minor patrons?
No, it's random. Like all good modded additions, they aren't considered more important than the vanilla content.

Is this mod achievement compatible?
Of course not! This mod adds stuff to the game!

I found a bug. Should I make a comment?
No, please no! Use the bug reports discussion or join the modding den server and write in the #metals-more-mods channel.

But I am lazy! And the bug totally has to do with your mod!

Are the new patrons overpowered?
I have tried my best to balance them all, but feel free to tell me if you think they are too good or too bad.

Compatibility?
All mods that add minor patrons are incompatible with each other. If you have a mod that adds minor patrons or overwrites the telepath job and want it to be compatible with this mod, please contact me on discord or steam and we can probably figure something out.

a suggestion for a new minor patron could be a god of sleep representing the emotions of exhaustion and relief could pull from the Homebrew page for SOMM or old mythological gods like hypnos for lore snipets.

bit of a tangent but is it even possible to mod the minor patron slots and shroud UI thing to allow for more than 4 minor patrons - only asking here because you making new mini patrons suggests you might have poked that area of the code as well to be nosey

heres a question the FAQ i think? dosent cover can you get these new patrons alongside the vanila patron in there same "Position"

aka could i have this mod patron bewteen the cradle and shaper and a vanilla patron bewteen the cradle and shaper?

or is it still a choice like bewteen the golden dream and hollow point but now with a third choice?
