The Vanguard Showroom

Come on in and test drive one of our new 2015 models!

0.0% APR* for 3 hours!

Let our dedicated team** personalize your very own Vanguard Personal Frigate!

*APR subject to applicable laws, and increases to 137% APR after the 3 hour grace period. Tax, Title, and License are the responsibility of the purchaser, and are subject to all applicable Galactic Federal Laws.

**Dedicated Team consists of the purchaser and one (1) on-staff consultant. Consultant may be unavailable during peak hours, nights, weekends, holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and inclement weather (including, but not limited to: fog, mist, rain, sleet, snow, thunder, lightning, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, solar flares, and meteor storms). Purchaser is responsible for any requested customization costs, including any and all taxable equipment additions. Options may vary and may not be available at all dealerships.

Before test driving a Vanguard, ask your doctor if your heart is healthy enough for frequent adrenaline rushes. Women who are nursing, pregnant, or may become pregnant should not pilot or travel aboard a Vanguard, as it may cause nausea and vomiting, and may instill in your unborn child a desire to pilot combat ships. Mommas, don't let your babies grow up to be space cowboys.

I won't even have to pay for this I will steal it from the dealer at
gunpoint and then use its weapons to blow everyone on this platform
to bits so they cannot phone intergalactic police

Yeah...I know. Pistons and rotors are the bane of Space Engineers. So much promise. So much death.

*cries*

If pistons weren't inherently broken, they would make perfect landing gear. They act as shock absorbers, and retract to be completely flush with the ship, as well as being customizable lengths, so you can make them whatever length you'd like. However, they ARE inherently broken, and will explode in a brilliant display of smoke and flame any time you try to fly anywhere.

Do raw pistons work good as landing legs?

I'll give it a shot. I'm not sure how much time I'll have to spend on SE right now, but add me to your friends list and I'll try to meet up with you at some point.

Thanks. By the way, I have a project to offer to you.
The project itself is simple. I make the completed interiors with ceiling, floor and walls and you build a hull around it. I just want to see what can be done this way. Are you interested?

Sure, I'll add a couple.
