Description
⚔️ Battleborn to Wargod — 20-Tier Battle Achievement Trait Mod

A lightweight, progression-based battlefield mastery system inspired by my War Veterans and God of War mods.

Have you ever wanted your warriors, commanders, and champions to truly grow through war?
To track their battles not just for flavor, but for real mechanical progression?

Here comes a set of 20 brand-new battle achievement traits that evolve as your character racks up victories — beginning at just 5 battles and ending at an absurd 220 battles.

Good luck hitting the cap without a long-lived monster of a ruler.

Each rank adds increasingly powerful bonuses, starting with simple Martial and Prowess, and slowly extending into:

[] Command modifiers[] Siege ability[] Accolade experience[] Movement bonuses[] Reinforcement rate[] Stewardship & Learning (representing logistical mastery + battlefield wisdom)

By Rank 20?
Your character will be a true god of the battlefield.

🏆 TRAIT PROGRESSION (20 RANKS)

Battleborn – 5 battles
Battlesworn – 10 battles
Battleforged – 15 battles
Battlebringer – 20 battles
Battlemaster – 25 battles
Battlewarden – 30 battles
Battlelord – 35 battles
Battlemarshal – 40 battles
Battlefather – 45 battles
Battlegod – 50 battles

Warborn – 60 battles
Warsworn – 70 battles
Warforged – 80 battles
Warbringer – 90 battles
Warmaster – 100 battles
Warwarden – 120 battles
Warlord – 140 battles
Warmarshal – 165 battles
Warfather – 190 battles
Wargod – 220 battles

Every tier is earned automatically through combat.
No decisions, no events, no manual clicking — just fight, win, survive, ascend.

📦 INCLUDED FILES

This mod adds:

[] 20 new traits[] Battle-tracking scripted logic[] Automatic progression via battle victory count[] Fully localized names & descriptions
  • Custom icons (if you choose to add them later)

No vanilla traits are replaced.
No file conflicts with culture, title, faith, or map mods.

⚙️ COMPATIBILITY

✔️ Ironman compatible (no checksum changes beyond traits)
✔️ Compatible with War Veterans
✔️ Compatible with God of War
✔️ Compatible with all commander/knight overhaul mods
❌ Incompatible only with mods that override battle victory event 0041

💬 Recommended Mods

If you like divine, mythic, or long-term progression mods, check out:

Progenitor’s Blood
A low-weight, ten-tier divine bloodline system that pairs beautifully with this mod.
Battle-Hardened If you like Wargod, you may LOVE Battle-hardened, less intrusive traits, but more of them and properly split among knights and commanders.

🔥 For Modders

Progression uses a cumulative variable tracked through:

combat_event.0041

Each threshold promotes the character and removes the previous tier.

Traits follow the naming and indexing conventions of my War Veterans line for easier compatibility.

⚔️ Become Battleborn.
Survive to become Wargod.

@Wolf thank you. You may want to try my Battle Hardened mod if you like this one. This goes up to 220 batles over 20 traits, that goes up to 1500 over 30.

@skill_issues. I'm not sure, I do not play agot. I'd have to look to see what the conflict is.

This edits very few files, so I'm sure it'd be easy to make a compatch.

hi! looks like a great mod. will this work with agot, because the old mod was conflicting with dragon battles?

The next iteration will also be removing the 5 battles for the first ten traits, as combined with below - I felt that created a lot of lower level generals/rulers that had more skills than what I wanted.

major update coming.

I'm editing this in a big way because after a few playthroughs I feel like it's OP.

I'm going to be spreading out the battles more, adding ten new traits (Bloodsworn to Bloodgod), reducing the prowess overall (too many mods add prowess, and as much as I'd like these traits to make people gain skills in battle through experience, my own modsets have proven this to be unwise, and I'll be adjusting completely).

lmao, if that's your pleasure. It'd be easy to rename the localization yourself.

I thinki will stay at warfather infinitely lol

Absolutely 0 of these names were chosen randomly or without forethought. Doesn't mean I love them all equally though.

I took Warfather because the concept actually is out there.

All-father. Victory father, Father of hosts. It's got several similar names across multiple cultures (especially Norse, which is why I almost didn't include it, as I felt it might be too tribal sounding).
