Dugong 2 - Balanced & Campaign Ready

Description
Overview
The Dugong 2 is for those who like the simplicity, shape and layout of the Dugong and wish to take it further into the campaign. It's speed and maneuverability have been increased, armaments upgraded, electrical system overhauled and interior reworked to fit a Fabricator, Deconstructor and Medical Fabricator.

It's a Tier 2 Scout submarine intended for 4-6 intermediate crew members with a price of 13,500 mk.

It is designed to be vanilla-friendly and balanced. It's reactor output, engine power, armaments, battery capacity, water drainage and more have been carefully designed and tuned to be in-line with the other vanilla submarines. With the Mechanics Iron Storm Talent it can stand on it's own through to the end of the campaign, however remains fair and balanced.

The junction boxes are neatly organised. There's one core junction box in the reactor room that connects the reactor to the rest. The utility compartment hosts the backup battery array and two junction boxes for the rear and front pumps. The junction box compartment has numbered boxes in order of importance. Box 1 connects to one backup battery and boxes 2, 3, 4 – and they connect to (in order); the Navigation Terminal, Status Monitor and Engine, Weapons/Lights and Fabrication/Lights. Box 5 connects to one backup battery and boxes 6, 7, 8 – and they connect to the diving suit lockers.

The components responsible for the water detectors, smoke detectors and weapons can be accessed in-game by cutting up the ceiling above the weapons bay. The backup battery array powers just the essentials; that being the Engine, Navigation Terminal, Status Monitor, Oxygen Generator, front & rear Ballast Pumps and the Weapons. The Engineering Room features smart water drainage, preventing it from flooding if the Amidships compartment is breached.

It does not contain a built in autoreactor. This it to keep it in-line with the other vanilla subs, not overcomplicate things, ensure future functionality and leave room for clever engineers to design their own systems.

This submarine is heavily inspired by the R-278 Dugong. I recommend everyone check that out.
