Install the Right Programs
You'll need to install a few programs to get Dragon Engine models working in Blender*.

You will need:

* The Yakuza Shader plugin doesn't work for the most recent version of Blender. Try using 4.2.13.
Ripping Models
Infinite Wealth models are located in a file called chara.par. To navigate there, go to common/LikeADragon8/runtime/media/data/chara.par

Drag chara.par over partool. The resulting folder will be named chara.par.unpack. Put this somewhere easy to find.

Finding Your Models
Unlike older Yakuza games, Dragon Engine games require multiple models to be imported for them to work in Blender. You'll need a face model, a hair model, and a tops model. I would suggest clicking into each folder inside chara.par.unpack and searching with Windows to make it easier to find a certain character.

Once you find each model, copy and paste them somewhere easy to find.

Importing into Blender

File > Import > Yakuza Skinned GMD for Modelling [Characters] (.gmd)
You'll need to import each file you found in the last step.

Fixing Missing Textures
When you click viewport shading, you’ll notice everything is pink from missing textures. To fix this, you’ll need gmdTexCop.exe. Double-click it and navigate to your model folder. Select the model you want.

For the next step, navigate to here: chara.par.unpack/dds_hires/00

Then choose your output folder. Repeat this for your other models. You can select ‘yes’ when it asks if you want to use previously used paths. I never separate common files since I don't know what that means.

Next, go back to Blender. Navigate to File > External Data > Relink Imported Yakuza Images…

Navigate to where you dumped the texture files and click relink image. Do this for all the models.

Fixing Armatures
To make things easier, you should fix the armatures. Delete all the armatures except for the ‘h’ armature.

Before:

After:

Now you’ll need to merge them.

Select all the items first, and select the h armature last.

Right-click on the screen while you have everything selected. Select Parent > Armature Deform

End
I'm not an expert so I probably won't be able to help you if you have questions. Try the Yakuza Modding Discord for help.
