Overview
The game comes with a quick guide, shown below.

To show it on your screen, in-game, in system settings switch "show manual" to ON.

Top Bar
Let's go to from left-to right.

Track your lives
At the very left are how many lives you have left.

Count your money
Then we have the green orb count which act like money you can spend at the end of the level in the armoury portal. The green orbs also charge the overload beam (more on that soon).

Track your score
The number of points you have earned so far.

Bonuses
Completing and wiping waves quickly earns you bonuses. The chain here will appear as broken or intact, depending on whether you are in a series of interrupted perfect chains.

Access the armoury portal
Grabbing armoury letters that gradually spell out the word armoury will also make the word armoury in this bar become highlighted. Once they are all highlighted, you will be able to access the armoury portal and spend green orbs to buy things like weapons slots, and other special features.

Charge the overload
Collecting green orbs also charges the overload - a brightly coloured beam that eviscerates almost everything it touches. The percentage gradually goes up as you collect more orbs. Once it is charged to 100% it will either automatically unleash if you have the overload on auto in your settings, or you can manually trigger it. You can press the overload button to stop the beam from depleting completely. The overload beam can then be recharged again with more green orbs and used again once it reaches max.

Beat the high score
Be inspired to be the current high score set by other players!
Bottom Bar
Build out your weapons
Collecting power ups causes weapons and features in your armoury at the bottom of the screen to flash. When a weapon or feature is flashing, providing it still has upgrade slots available, you can upgrade that weapon.

The weapons you can upgrade are:
  • Speed
  • Missiles
  • Guns
  • Sides
  • Burst
  • Plasma
  • Magma
  • Laser

Certain choices in the armoury portal at the end of each level can add extra upgrade slots to your choice of weapons.

Stealth and your Special Weapon cannot be upgraded in the same way as the basic weapons. Stealth is a one-time use each time you select upgrade on it and needs to recharge before being used again. You are invulnerable while Stealth is on.

Your Special Weapon is the one that you chose in the hangar to go with your craft.

If you upgrade your fire power rate, either in the armoury portal or by earning it as a special feature, the percentage of rate upgrade will show in the bottom right of the screen.
Upgrade & Bonus Tokens
  • Collect power ups to upgrade your weapons and features (as described in the previous section.
  • The shield bonus will protect your upgrades in the event you lose a life - otherwise you will lose an upgrade
  • A question mark bonus will give you a mystery bonus weapon feature for a short amount of time
  • A magnet bonus will draw all power ups and green orbs on screen to you

Amazing work!
This guide is for Arcade and Modern mode.
1992 mode doesn't have orbs/random power ups/shop but rest is still valid;)
