Lost & Found Dwarfs: Mining Expansion

Description
Rock and stone, Dawi brethren! It's time to dig a hole!

This mod expands and overhauls the mining theme of the dwarfs, including new units, new buildings, reworked Miners, two named heroes, and a new, fully voiced generic hero!



Summary

New Units
  • Legendary Hero - Unrad Grimbeard
  • Legendary Hero - Grombold Krudsson
  • Generic Hero - Prospector
  • Miners (Steam Drills)
  • Earth Borer Mining Drill
  • Sappers
  • RoR - Unrad's Excavators

How to Recruit!
  • Unrad Grimbeard - Reach level 10 with your faction leader then maintain 8 mining related units for the mission
  • Grombold Krudsson - Construct the Underdeep Mines building in the Deeps (unlocked at the start if playing as Zhufbar)

Other Changes
  • Rebalanced Miners, Miners (Blasting Charges), and Ekrund Miners
  • New Recruitment! Mining units are now recruited via Mining resource buildings. A generic building appears in settlements without a valid resource.
  • New models for vanilla Miners units
  • Slightly shuffled Dwarf technologies and Dwarf Warriors moved to base settlement building for recruitment.

Lords from other mods would likely need compatibility submods to work properly with the miners.

I think I meant to do that for Copper Mountain and it sounds like I missed it!

And I remived underground advance due to it being too buggy. It does exist in the standalone unit mods still, though!
And with the Dreadmaw, it looks like I will be able to add it back in with a much less buggy version, which I will look into once it releases.

Im not seeing the underground advance ability on the mining drill unit. Has that been removed? I really loved that ability.

Mayhaps you could consider giving the special Copper Mountain building at Karak Izor the recruitment capabilities for the mining units?

do lords who buff miners also buff these units or does it require a seperate patch ?
Kazador Dragonslayer (Mixus legendary lords) and partly Belegar buff Miners.

They are buffed a bit to be a specialized offensive unit rather than a chaff filler unit.
Pricing and stats around the same tier as Dwarf Warriors.
This was to bring them closer to their tabletop counterparts.

Hey! Amazing mod but a question, how are miners rebalanced? Is it just recruitment? Or is it changes to their stats?

And yeah. All of those features require a new campaign, with the mod installed from the beginning, to function.
