now its not happening lol, genuinely baffled by this but I guess nevermind? I'll update if I can replicate it but idk, maybe it wasn't this mod but it doesn't make sense why it would so consistently work if I removed it. Very strange.

Trust me I didn't think this mod was a possible culprit either but I swear I've gone through my entire list and this is the one that's causing the strange crash consistently. Without it, everything is fine, with it, the game breaks. I've tested it like four times now. Validating the files didn't fix it.

Saying crash isn't really accurate either, I can still exit back to the main menu from the pseudo-main menu and it works fine until I try and load into another map. It's like the game fails to fully initialize or something, its very weird.

Let me try and isolate what the error is in the log so I can show you, maybe that'll explain it, but idk what to tell you somehow it is this mod.

@WalrusMan I'd say there almost a 100% chance of that not being the case. Revalidate your file integrity and try again, this mod doesn't do anything it's literally a texture pack.

After a lot of searching, it seems this mod is responsible for my game crashing. It's a strange sorta crash too, the game doesn't technically crash. It says world generation fails and to check the log once I try to load into a map, but it doesn't actually fully crash. It's like the main menu gets layered over an invisible map, and every screen that moves generates a duplicate image behind it. Seeing as nobody else has reported this I'm pretty confused.

I would assume its an incompatability, but I don't think I have anything that's not in your modlist? Not that I could imagine making this crash. I really dont get it. Without this the damn multifloors button doesn't have an icon and it drives me nuts but preferable to the game crashing obv.

I also have a question: why does it need to be placed above Vanilla Textures Expanded in the mod list? Since you indicated that it depends on this mod, it should be below it, if I understand correctly. I use RimPy when compiling my mod list, and it gives a yellow warning requiring me to place it above Vanilla Textures Expanded
