This mod's ID is STEAMMOD=3519610108



As titled - A small port of my OG Battle Droid Voices mod to Thrawn's Revenge to cover just the B1's, B2's and AAT's that you often get when capturing Droid Factories in ground battles. I think the CSA use them too, but I haven't played as them yet.

I know these units are barely used in Thrawn's Revenge, I doubt anyone would want this rather negligible tweak - but I wanted it, so I uploaded it. That's how my mods are born.

It will also cover some units like the J1 and BX Commandos added in Xenomorph's 'Pentastar CIS CloneWars Challenge submod'.

In my current game I was using a few of these units during a battle and wanted them to sound the way I like them, and they use the same file structure as FotR with it being the same team, so I knew making this tiny mod wouldn't take as long as formatting this description and making a funny looking Thrawn B1 pic :)

Installation Instructions:
Step 1: Subscribe to both this mod and Thrawn's Revenge.
Find TR here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1125571106

Step 2: Right Click the game in your Steam Library and look for the Launch Properties box.

Step 3: Copy + Paste this into the box:
STEAMMOD=3519610108 STEAMMOD=1125571106

If you're using Xenomorph's Pentastar CIS CloneWars Challenge mod, it's:
STEAMMOD=3519610108 STEAMMOD=3503746622 STEAMMOD=1125571106

Step 4: Launch the game, play some and come back here whenever you get the time and let me know what you think.

Compatibility:
= Future versions of TR might need an update. But probably not.
= Any mod that changes the file structure or overwrites droid unit files in the Dataudioround folders is going to conflict with this mod and/or potentially stop it from working completely.

Known Issues:
- The fault within: I'm inexperienced and quickly lose interest in things that aren't fun (like modding).
- There's a few lines that could be louder/quieter. I think I know which ones.
- With Pentastar CIS CloneWars Challange submod, STAP's are silent and Persuader-class droid enforcer uses B2 lines. This seems to be an error on Xenomorph's end as they have STAP sound files in the mod, they're just not being used.

Potential Future project ideas:
- Fixing those known issues
- More voice packs if I really wanted to, but I'm satisfied for now.

I'm not really a modder. I want to play the game!
I'm currently going through all the FotR and Thrawn's Revenge campaigns in order as I listen to the Audiobooks.
So unless I really feel the need to change the game again as I play it over the next few weeks, don't be waiting on any of it. Feel free to do it yourself.
