Fusion Fix For Grand Theft Auto: The Complete Edition Guide
By Zed
Grand Theft Auto IV is great. But it comes with downsides. For example water foam and rain droplets being invisible, a lack of reflections and the lighting was toned down and broken, and the very slippery motor bikes that are not supposed to behave like that. How do we fix this? Answer, Fusion Fix.

Fusion Fix is a free mod that helps bring back the removed reflections and aspects from the console port, adds a ton of options, fixes the annoying broken bike, and finally fixes the broken details.

You need: A copy of Grand Theft Auto IV (ofc), Fusion Fix https://github.com/ThirteenAG/GTAIV.EFLC.FusionFix, and OpenIV https://openiv.com (website looks sketchy but just press the Download now button)

This is the path to get to the root folder, this will be important for the whole proccess. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV

First you will set up OpenIV and click Grand Theft Auto IV instead of EFLC because you bought it from Steam and show the route to the root folder. Use the directions I showed earlier. With OpenIV set up you are going to select Edit Mode in the top right corner and say Yes. Make a new folder named update by clicking the green plus. Then open the update folder and right click when inside. Select New and create an GTA IMG Archive.

Finally returning to the downloaded Fusion Fix mod in Downloads you will Extract All and move it into the root folder and that's it! The mod will automatically transfer inside the update folder. This is by far the easiest way to install Fusion Fix. If you want to check if you installed it or not you are going to open the menu by pressing ESC when you join in GTA IV, then go to Game and if you see a ton of options then you have installed Fusion Fix. Enjoy your enhanced GTA IV experience. If I made any mistakes I apologize.

You can just use the installer tool that Fusionfix offers now and select your GTA IV directory, OpenIV is not needed
