Lily's Warden-at-Arms Lord - Bretonnia Overhaul - (Now Included in the All-in-One mod!)

Lords of Bretonnia, rest easy (or not) for the Peasants can now lead the armies too!


The Warden-at-Arms is a dutiful soldier that leads battles where Knights and Lords cannot be present. Due to being a peasant, it is rare for Knights to be willing to follow them into battle unless their reputation is truly legendary.

The Warden-at-Arms has 7 variants and over 20 unique skills. These skills allow each Warden you recruit to be unique to each other and encourage a specific play style of your choosing. They focus on leading cheap peasants in battles, as opposed to mighty knights.

Due to being Peasants, they DO NOT gain vows, and instead reduce the upkeep of the Knights through levelling up. This makes it more straightforward, but the levels required, 20 for Knights vow units, 30 for Questing vow units and 40 for Grail vow units, means that it may take quite some time for a Warden to even maintain Knights, let alone excel at leading them.

The station of Warden-at-Arms is the loftiest position achievable for the low-born men of Bretonnia. Any Man-at-Arms who serves his lord diligently and lives long enough on the field may one day find himself as a Warden-at-Arms. These stalwart defenders have authority over other household militiamen, acting as captains and officers, often found guarding estates or acting as a bodyguard to a travelling knight. Due to their proximity to their lieges they sometimes earn the trust and respect of their lordly rulers, though they will never be considered equals. In battle, they are highly valued for their skill with a polearm and for their ability to command and inspire their lord's levied infantry.


Currently the character has no voice lines on the campaign map. Rather than deny you the opportunity to play with the lord while I wait for assistance, I have decided to share the mod with the world. I hope this is an equitable compromise for the time being, and that you understand my position!


FAQ
Q: Is this mod compatible with such and such mod?
A: This Lord has not been re balanced for being used with mods such as SFO, it is a Vanilla mod, however it should not have any issues with compatibility.

Q: Is this included in All-in-one by default?
A: Yes.
