Wall Mounted Firefoam

Description


Firefoam Poppers that mount on walls! Now with new textures to better fit within the game and the new Odyssey Expansion!

These Canisters of Firefoam work just like Normal poppers but they mount on walls.
Half the Normal Beauty Penalty -4 instead of -8 (Out of sight out of mind)
5 more steel to construct 80 instead of 75 (For the Wall Brackets)

I figured out that it was due to a placement that the pawns couldn't reach, but was reachable. Quantum tile or something lmao

I've encountered a bug with these being mounted in cramped Grav Ships. Locks up the pawns in their tile with them just 'Standing' - drafting gets them out, but undrafting has them go straight back to standing. Bit weird

Yeah can confirm that. Vanilla allows you to build wall stuff over the shuttle, but then doesn't let the shuttle land there anymore... it's a vanilla bug / inconsistency

@freackyfreac That isn't a Issue per say, the firefoam is kinda like a wall light where its on the tile in front of the wall technically so the shuttle is seeing it as in its way when it tries to land. im not sure thats something I can fix but you could try just moving the Popper out of the direct landing zone.

@HighFlyer96 Yeah i'm sorry about that but with the new textures and the way we structured them in the Xml for our sake it had to be renamed, as others have suggested id just use dev mod and plop them back in.

@HighFlyer96 I would just use developer mode and put them back where I had them. It's not like you're cheating, you're correcting something that broke.

found an issue with the firefoam. i had a shuttle standing here, installed firefoam cause of reasons and now sold stuff and tried to land again

I like the reskin, I just wished the old ones would have been turned into one of the new colors instead of just disappearing. Lost about 200-400 firefoam poppers in my base due to the mod update and I'm on a severe steel shortage without having fireprotection now >.<
