Pikmin Chess

Description
Pikmin can be tossed by captains when they are next to, behind, or in front of them. Captains are the horse, castle, and bishop, this does not include the king and queen. There are three kinds of Pikmin, light, heavy, and normal. Normal Pikmin can be tossed two spaces but cant land on things. Light Pikmin can be toss 3 spaces and also cant land on things. Heavy Pikmin can be tossed 1 space but cant land on and kill things. Pikmin still act as pawns only attacking sideways but they can only move one space at a time when not tossed, they can move backward but when tossed it can only be forward. The queen and king cant toss Pikmin. The king can only be moved if its touching one of your own pieces. To win a player must move next to the king and stay alive for one turn. Kings cant attack, and when a enemy piece is next to the king it cannot be moved. When a pawn reaches the other side you may choose to spawn one of your dead captains, or a pawn if all your captains are alive. When a piece is brought back or if you have all of yours then you can choose one of the three kinds of pawns, The new piece will spawn on any space next to the king of your choosing. Important!!!-Next to means in front, behind, or on the left or right. All the rules apply to the other side the same way.

How about at least telling us which pieces were which so we could set it up ourselves?

I agree with Millstone's thing. Also, this would make an interesting addition to Chess 2's armies... but make the Yellow Onion (queen) unable to capture pieces, or move more than 3 spaces... or any other nerf to bring the Pikmin army a bit closer to the other armies in terms of strength.

I like the concept of pieces tossing pawns. Now for my two cents:
* I would put a symbol in a corner of each picture, so that players can remember what is what without having to make the description appear.
* Speaking of descriptions... Castles and horses should be called rooks and knights.
