Description
Better Chrome script.
Chrome to the dome.
This is the 8 shell version of the original Better Chrome Shotgun script, which you can find here.

This script is intended for players who want a more powerful Chrome Shotgun that fulfills the role of a medium range shotgun. I gave it some large buffs without making it extremely overpowered.


Stat changes (Simple)
*More damage per shot (248 > 360)
*Tighter pellet spread
*Less damage dropoff at long ranges
*No spread

Stat changes (Full)
+Increased pellet damage (31 > 45)
+Reduced damage dropoff (30% > 10%)
+Increased penetration power (30% > 80%)
+Increased shotgun damage bonus threshold (300 > 500)
+Spread removed
+Decreased vertical pellet scatter (3 > 2)
+Decreased horizontal pellet scatter (5 > 3)

does this conflict with mods that fix the shotgun sounds when in third person

No worries, just thought I'd ask, I recently started using all the stuff you've made to spruce up the weapons & gameplay, along with some script mods and so far I'm enjoying it.

For starters, you need to be a coding genius to speed up or slow down shotgun reloads, since they are hardcoded into the game.

Second, not really interested in doing so.

So I use this mod:

I was wondering if you could maybe make a version of this that uses the secondary slot

& (Optionally)

lowers the mag size down to 6, but speeds up the reload time (if that's even possible to code) to compensate for it.
