Access Lost Archive DLC with Standard Edition
By .:Assassin:.wOw~
Recent update made it unable to purchase the Lost Archive DLC and gutted the files for the DLC and Desmond Sequences.

Also, many users who already have the DLC are unable to access it.

This guide works for both kind of people who either has the DLC officially or has purchased the standard edition after steam remove the gold edition from the store.

Following this guide can help you get 100% Achievements even if you own Standard Edition of the game.

Follow the Steps
You can still access Lost Archive DLC if you have Standard Edition of the game.

(Backup your original saves before doing this in case something happens)

This is how I managed to get the DLC running as I can not purchase it officially on steam after they removed it from the store.

Step 1 - Download the DLC files from link below
https://drive.google.com/file/d/15CduUHYobm28ppsrtQdfAODVX1MR7fdD/view?usp=drive_link

Step 2 - Extract and copy files to your game folder.
(\steamapps\common\Assassin's Creed Revelations)

Step 3 - Download DLC unlocker file from link below
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x2whrpoZmKavODQKtKIv5LDyZWq4lt2q/view?usp=drive_link

Step 4 - Extract and copy the file to savegame location
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\*random number*\40
(Only replace 1.save. Do not touch 2.save)

Step 5 - Disable cloud save sync in uPlay Connect app (This is very important to make this solution work.)

Step 6 - Launch the game, load your save and equip the DLC exclusive outfit so that the game saves your progress. (You should notice the Lost Archive DLC option in main menu too when you launch the game.)

Step 7 - Close the game. Enable cloud save sync in uPlay Connect app. Relaunch the game and select the upload Local Save option when it prompts you to choose.

Step 8 - Open Lost Archive in Main Menu and check if it launches (It also instantly unlocks all the Desmond Sequences too in case you haven't collected enough Animus Fragments.)

Again, backup your original save game files in case something goes wrong.

If this work for you then congratulations and you can get 100% Achievements for your game now.
And don't forget to comment if this solution works for you.

This also removes the need to purchase Gold Edition from 3rd party stores and activate the key on uPlay Connect.

Nothing happens because the file is missing. But it should unlock the achievement nonetheless.

hI
question about the step 1 files - in order for this to work I have ALSO to extract files within the "penrose" folder or just the two files visible outside of it ?

If in DLC you don’t have dialogue sounds or music, then from the link that PathFinder shared earlier, you need to download two files:

Link [ia804501.us.archive.org]

1. Scroll down to Assassin’s Creed Revelations Gold Edition/SoundData/pc/
2. To restore dialogue sounds, you need to download the file ending with "sounds_3_dlc_eng.pck". Of course, you can download other language versions: fre, ger, ita, rus or spa. Choose the version that matches your language.
3. To restore sound effects, download the file "sounds_3_dlc_sfx.pck".
4. Place the downloaded files into your game directory under /SoundData/pc/
5. To restore the music, you need to rename the file "sounds_3_dlc_sfx.pck" to "sounds_sfx_dlc.pck". Only after this change will the DLC properly recognize the music.

Thanks to PathFinder for the link and to .:Assassin:.wOw~ for the guide
