TFR: Long March Never Retires

This mod removes the event where Long March retires.


This mod no longer removes the event. It now allows you to choose whether or not you wish to keep her, which makes this mod less likely to break future updates and event triggers.

Unfortunately, the Long March wished to retire. She felt as if it wasn't her place to govern, it wasn't her place as a machine to be in the position she lay.

But the people, they yearned for her. They begged her to remain. Even if she was "just an AI," everybody had rallied behind her and supported her rule, as their lives had been improved drastically. Nobody wanted to return to the days of old, where human error could disrupt all of the good things Loji has given them.

So she decided, she would stay. She bares the burden of those left behind, the unfortunate, being a true People's Servant, she will bare the burden of the people for... Years, decades, perhaps even centuries to come. People were happy. Creativity was at an all time high. And the people loved Loji, so did Loji love the people. She will stay, albeit showing reluctance in doing so, the thought of one man or woman being capable of ruining everything she had built up, brought her heartbreak.

Sorry. I love the Long March "Wholesome" path. I just didn't like the fact that she retires after so long of ruling and improving people's lives, all of that just to return the power to flawed people. While I respect the writing decision from a gameplay standpoint, I like giving players more leeway and options. You want her to stay? Subscribe to this mod. You don't? Then go play the base mod and have a great day.
