Skyrim is awesome... but I am a die-hard Oblivion fan & actually like it better, though that could be more from nostalgia. I am probably going to chip away at a guide for Oblivion; I was torn on making one, but I decided I may as well. I want to beat the Remaster, & if I am, then I may as well do a guide while I do it. (I blame you though) haha
Maybe, just maybe I will keep exploring till I complete all my quests, explore all the other "unknown locations" until I truly have no quest or location or RARE/UNIQUE item left to find. Either that or I'll download that huge modpack from nexus mods to play with.
What a game... just like Mass Effect and FNV, I am truly blown away.
I have been following your Skyrim guide for the Special Edition/AE of Skyrim and... I have to say - how absolutely blown away I am with both the game and your guide. Just how in-depth your guide is written, and the fact I did NOT feel rail-roaded into "following" to the T either... what a journey this one was.
I've NEVER played Skyrim before. I tried but I never got into it. It just wasn't for me. My friends always told me to play it. They are also the ones that told me to do Mass Effect and FNV. I followed your guide for them too!
Now I see what everyone mean's when they call this game a masterpiece. A forever game. Wow.
Thank you again Cynic for taking the time to make these amazing guides. If you had "Book" guides in person I could buy like Prima Guides... I would hand's down own EVERY... SINGLE... ONE!
The Vampire Powers are super weak (in my opinion) & it is really grindy even at mid game Levels to farm Vampire Perks. But I would not recommend restarting your game if you don't have to, as it would potentially take longer get back to that point than to try banging out those last few Perks.
Favour Quests typically do count if they are available, & are usually the easiest to do to meet your Thane "quota".
