This guide includes 3 sections:

1. Host A Game
   
2. Join A Game
   
3. Select Server Region

TLDR; The game hasn't got a lobby for now, as a host you need to Start Game before it is shown in the Join Game list.

Take the following steps to host a game that your friend(s) can join:

1. In Main Menu, press the "Host Game" button.
   
   
   
   
2. (Optional) You can choose to write a custom name for your game, and to set a password so only those you share the password with can join. Without a password the game will be open for anyone to join.
   
   
   
   
3. Double-check your region. You and your friend(s) have to be in the same region to play together. If you want to change region, go back to Main Menu and follow the steps outlined in Select Server Region section.
   
   
   
   
4. Select New Game or Continue Game.
   
   
   
   
5. If needed, select your character personality and savefile and join in any local players. When ready, press "Start Game".
   
   
   
   
6. When the game has started, other players can join your game.
   
   
   
   
7. If needed, you can view the game name and server region in the "Game" tab in your character menu.
   
   
   
   
8. Join in: Success!
   
   

Note #1: As the host, you will be the one saving the world progress in the World Savefile. Player who has joined your game will not be able to continue on this savefile on their own.

Note #2: As the host of the game, if you quit the game session it will be ended for any joined players as well.

To join a game, take the following steps:

1. In Main Menu, press "Join Game".
   
   
   
   
2. Select the game you want to join. If you cannot find the game in the list, make sure you are in the same region as your friend that's hosting the game. If the list is long you can search for the game name to filter the list.
   
   
   
   
3. If the game is password protected, you will be asked to input the password. Press "Join Game" after you entered the password.
   
   
   
   
4. If needed, select your character personality and savefile and join in any local players. When ready, press "Start Game".
   
   
   
   
5. You should now be joined in and can play the game!
   
   

You have to be in the same server region as your friend(s) to join them. If you want to change server region, complete these steps:

1. In Main Menu, click the "Choose Region" button.
   
   
   
   
2. Select the region you want to change to.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Press the "Back" button.
   
   
   
   
4. Your newly selected region should now be displayed under "Choose Region" button.
