fixing buggy screen resolution on launch
By Mudskipper76
If your game is launching in a different resolution than your monitor/tv (for example 3840 × 2160 instead of 1920 x 1080) and is stuck on said resolution you can fix this by going to appdata, finding sekiro and changing the screen size in the graphicsconfig.xml file with for example notepad++.

the place you want to change is this:
<Resolution-FullScreenWidth>[change_to_monitor_width]</Resolution-FullScreenWidth>
<Resolution-FullScreenHeight>[change_to_monitor_height]</Resolution-FullScreenHeight>

hope this helped :)

I didn't have the graphicsconfig.xml either in my appdata. What worked for me was to force the resolution in the launch option. To do that go in your library > right click on Sekiro > click on properties then type "-w 1920" in the "launch option" section. (1920 is for a 1920x1080 resolution. You can change it to your resolution)

Thank you very much! Screen was wildly out of resolution by default, and changing the settings in game did nothing. This was the only fix!

I don't have a graphicsconfig.xml file in my Sekiro folder, I've uninstalled reinstalled and verified integrity of game files still not there.
