Breezehome by Toothcutter

Description
Hey all, welcome to my vision of what Breezehome should be as a useful home in Whiterun. Try it out, see what you think. Hearthfire, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn DLC's are required, or your game will crash.

PLEASE CHECK UPDATES BELOW, THANKS!

The home remodel includes a basement with crafting stations in a single cell layout. An exterior deck was also added just for kicks. The house is still follower/spouse friendly. It was built on the original Breezehome structure but "feels" a bit more spacious.

FOR SPOUSES...to make the home compatible for spouse/followers, please download the following app from Skyrim Nexus. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11370/?
Another similar app might work, but this is what I use and have never had an issue.
(if you are playing a lot of Skyrim and are not using the Nexus Mod Manager, now may be a good time to look into it :))

The mod(s) used in the images for all of the plants is Towns and Villages Enhanced (TAVE) by Applestormy. There are editions for all of the major cities and towns and are excellent. I run all of them and they really change the game for the better!

WARNING - if you already have all of your belongings in Breezehome, move them out first before subscribing to this mod. The easiest way to do this is listed next. If you already loaded the mod and lost all of your gear try this to get it back. Unsubscribe to this mod, then open an older save you had before the new mod. Go into Breezehome and grab everything you had (press the "~" to open the console and type "player.setav carryweight 9999" and press enter, then press the tilda again (~). ) Once you have everything out, resubscribe to the mod and move your old stuff in and you should be good to go. Sorry for any inconvience!

PLEASE NOTE...allthough you can still go up to the castle and purchase the home, I would NOT try to make any further enhancements to the property though the Steward. Especially the addition for a childs room if you are running Hearthfire. This may shut down your game. Again...THIS HOUSE IS NOT ADOPTION FRIENDLY! Also, the house is open to you as soon as you start the game, no purchase is necessary.

Also, please read the note when you walk in. The urn containers are not guaranteed to hold your items which may or may not disapear with time. Use the regular chests, safes, and cabinets to store your belongings and you should have no issues.

If you enjoy it, please let me know. As always...let me know if you find any bugs and I will try to get to them as soon as possible.

-TO UNSUBSCRIBE AND SAVE YOUR BELONGINGS-
The easiest way to do this is to open the console command by pressing the tilda key "~". Then type as follows without the quotations "player.setav carryweight 9999", press enter, and hit the tilda key again. This will allow you to carry everything you have in the house (you could also set the weight higher than 9999 if you need). Grab everything and leave Breezehome and make a new save. Then quit skyrim, open Steam, unsubscribe to this mod, then restart your game. You will have the old Breezehome back again. Anytime you subscribe or unsubscribe to a mod I suggest you wait a minute before you hit the play button when you first launch the game. This gives your software a chance to update the mods you have loaded.

PLEASE READ --WEAPON PLAQUE FIX(s)--
If you haven't had the chance to play with the Skyrim CK you should know that mannequins, weapon racks/plaques are "buggy" in a big way. Sure enough, the original weapon plaques in the basement bugged-out as well. My apologies! It took me about 10 hours to get them working properly, and all should now be good. However, many of you had weapons on the racks before this last fix update, and will now find your weapons still stuck to the wall, and behind, or in, the plaque itself. Here are some suggestions to fix this...PLEASE MAKE A FRESH SAVE BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT ANY OF THESE ALTERNATIVES!!!!

1. - First choice, try to open an old save before you had attached anything to the plaques...this of course would erase anything you have done since then and is not the best choice, but should work.
2. - Second choice, open the console command by pressing the tilda key, then click on the weapon stuck to the wall. This will give you the items code...write it down. Then type DISABLE and press enter. The item should dissapear either instantly, or the next time you enter the house. Once they are gone, you can add the item back to your inventory by opening the console command and typing player.additem (enter the code of the item here without quotation marks).
3. - Third choice, start a new game....DOH!
4. - Forth choice, for those seeking answers online, using the "markfordelete" command code is a bad idea in my opinion as you may get rid of whatever the item is permanently for that character. So, for instance, if you deleted an ebony bow you had attached to the wall, you may never see another ebony bow during the game. Now...I have not tried this, and don't plan to, so do some research online before attempting, and explore this options at your own risk!!

UPDATE:
- 11/16/14. Corrected issue with display cases in the basement, they should be up and running. Also, all built in cabinets/safe should now look "normal" when open (black instead of stone interior).
- 11/17/14. Fixed clipping around scroll rack in the basement. Also corrected the mod name :)
- 11/22/14. Fixed weapon plaques in the basement, they should be up and running normally. I had to redo several so if you had weapons on them, and now they are gone, check around on the floor for them first.

Please rate/star if you like it. Also, feel free to check out my other mods:
- A Summers Home (Player Home)
- Ravensloft (Player Home)
- High Hrothgar Express (Game Play Help)
- Thieves Guild Mission Door (Game Play Help)

Cheers, Toothcutter.

This is so far the best mod for Breezehome that I have run across that makes perfect sense to the scale of the home from the outside. Keep up the good work.

please, I have a couple questions: you don't need to buy it and what about the upgrades? do they make any difference? also what are those statues by the fireplace that you have the option to activate?

This is really good, but what's the Talos awful noise I can hear throughout the house? I think it has something to do with the forge.

Toothcutter will this patch conflict with any dragon rising or with adoption of lucia? I'm looking for a good Breezehome mod that won't give me fits everytime I try to use it, or the purchase of Breezehome for that matter

Ok so before I subscribe, and I ve bought the home , are all the upgrades from proventus required to be bought or just the home itself ,for this mod to work ?
