A submod for Gigastructural Engineering & More, with mild additional features if combined with Ancient Caches of Technology and the Supermassive Eternal Soulsphere.

WARNINGS:

This mod is in development, new and existing features may or may not be added and changed further.

The edicts contained in this mod are balanced around an unlimited cap of megastructures. If the Dyson Sphere cap is left at 1, you may have some issues running the edicts.

Several ascension perks in this mod will be difficult, if not near impossible to obtain if only using Gigastructural and Midiradial Engineering. When doing the (admittedly shoddy) balancing, I was, and still am, running a modset with upwards of 70 mods, including the entire ACOT sphere. Do not expect to transcend without an array of powerful mods backing you up.

WHAT THIS MOD CONTAINS:

- New Edicts
New edicts costing various resources such as basic Alloys and Volatile Motes, all the way to Negative Mass, Sentient Metal, and Nanites. All of them, however, require a lot of energy to upkeep, as well as impacting all energy income heavily. Better get some Dyson Spheres running first.



- Extra Ascension Perk Slots
Expands Ascension Perk slots to a total of 150, accessible majorly via late game Statecraft technologies. The cost of these techs quickly scales into the millions before empire size calculations; you are not intended to finish this tech line until late game, if at all. Even with full ACOT/AOT tech used to the max, it will take a long time to get to all the slots.
WARNING: These new slots do not appear in vanilla, if you wish to use them, you will need to use a UI mod such as UI Overhaul Dynamic.


- New Ascension Perks
Many new Ascension Perks providing various bonuses:

Perfected Ship Designs: Increases your orbital bombardment damage by 75% and your overall ship fire rate by 50%. Noticably increases ship upkeep (25%), be careful if you already have a large navy when you take this perk. Requires the Supremacy tree completed.

Technological Renaissance: After taking Technological Ascendancy, this is the next step. A flat 75% boost to research speed.

The Second Industrial Revolution: Master Builders' older brother. Increases your megastructure build cap by 5 and your megastructure build speed by 400%!

Mass Drone Production: An ascension perk solely for Machine Intelligence empires. Increases your pop build speed by 75%, but increases robot upkeep by 15%.

Biological Mastery: Increases trait picks and points for genetically-ascended empires, at a cost of increased pop upkeep. Three tiers, with increasing bonuses and upkeep penalties.

Synchronized Instant Raiding: A far better version of the Raiding bombardment stance, which is not restricted to Authoritarian/Xenophobe empires. May be slightly overpowered, so AI is set to never use. Does effectively remove the need for armies.

Superb Materials: Extensive bonuses to various parts of your ship stats, and boosts to Alloys, Minerals and Motes production. Requires Perfected Ship Designs and The Second Industrial Revolution, as well as the Macroengineering and Gigaconstruction tradition trees finished, and Tetradimensional Engineering researched.

Transcension:
Four "Transcension" level ascension perks, with appropriately-large buffs to their respective areas. They will not be visible until you reach certain key conditions, and will not be selectable until you massively surpass those conditions. I won't tell you here; that's for you to find out in game :)
If you manage to find and unlock all four perks, one final perk will be unlocked, with incomprehensible power.


- New Megastructures

Artificial Asteroid: Just what it sounds like, you can artificially construct an asteroid in orbit of any planet within your borders. This is mostly useful for then upgrading into a strategically placed Asteroid Artillery, but I am unsure if the asteroids formed by this will be candidates for Asteroid Industrial Sites. Available once Terraforming and Asteroid Artillery techs are researched.

- Improved Scaling for Alderson Disks and Birch Worlds

Alderson Disks have been given a 10x job modifier, to make them actually worth building compared to ringworlds or ecumenopoli.
The Birch World, for the same reason, has been given a 25x job modifier. The Void Birch and Soul Birch each respectively increase this boost by an order of magnitude. This means a Soul Birch has a 2500x job scaling modifier. (Balance? Nevah heard of it!)

WARNING 2: All megastructure rebalances have been disabled for the time being, whilst Gigastructures fixes them all.

I can't really adjust for that many pops, maybe when I'm less busy I can think about adding something of that sort. I would advise searching for or creating your own mod for that.

I will also be revamping the Transcendence line as soon as I have the time, and reducing the bonuses it gives, which may help. But 15 million pops is.. difficult to balance anything for, and is not something I expected when creating the line. It may be a side effect of 4.0 I had not considered.

beside UI, i only use Gigastructural and Acot oh including SOTS, if Planetary Diversity count as well but i didn't build Soul Sphere yet.
getting 15 Million Pops on my Resort World probably did the overflow and i didn't use console command.

using resort world build like ten pop assembly ACOT building.

also i did another run with like 50 Planet including Gargantuan Ring World and get overflow as well during end game using same mod.

@alfharobby I have not experienced this overflow at all, whilst on Shroud tier technology and transcended. At what year of the game, technology and resource output did it occur? What other mods are you using?

Warning!
Using this MOD with Ancient Cache of Technology at the same time will cause Negative Overflow on Energy, Mineral, Food, Trade & Naval Capacity, so make sure not to get those Achievement and Transcender Ascension Perk while using Ancient Cache of Technology during Late Game Era.

My Suggestion, is to add Government Policies Negative Percentage Modifier in order to counter with Negative Overflow from -1000% up to Minus - 10K% of each resources and Naval Capacity.
