Real life fuel prices

Description
Put in the top of the mod list

Mod that updates the fuel prices of every state. This mod doesn't change any other economy in game.

Supports base game + all DLC's, Promods Canada, Coast to Coast, Alaska, CanaMania and Reforma.

All prices are American Dollar per gallon.

Can be used in convoy as an optional mod.

It also contains an update to Mexico and Canada state codes to match real life.

The timezones in every state are set according to real life and work in synergy with my other mod
Real life day and night duration

Usually fuel prices charts reflect the average price of every monday. Updates should start between monday and tuesday when the charts are updated for the week (small updates can occur for late charts updates in the following days).

Just checked it out in Colby, Kansas and everything now is indeed correct.

Thank you so much for adjusting it and also having the adjustment done so quickly. Your mod combo really is the best there is in both games because of how you keep them so up to date. I consider them essential/must-have mods.

Indeed the sunrises and sunsets were off by one hour. I noticed you actually need to manually adjust the time itself to match real life.

Appreciate the feedback and updated the mod accordingly and everything should be working as intended. Updated ETS2 based on this feedback aswell.

Thank you for your preference!

I like your mod combo but this one doesn't work with time zones right now. If you have time zones enabled, it sets everything ahead one hour so it doesn't get dark until later than it should and the sun doesn't rise until an hour later than it should. If you don't enable time zones in the game then sunrise and sunset seem to be accurate but it is the same time everywhere so time zones don't exist which decreases immersion. It seems like daylight savings time which isn't a thing during the winter in most of the U.S. hasn't been adjusted for.

The mod creator of Actual Day/Night Time has a mod called ATS Winter Timezones which correctly works right now. Perhaps you could look at what he does with that and adjust yours so it works during these not DST months with time zones enabled in game since your mod here is great because of the fuel price updates.

The info is taken from the Canada government offical source. Unfortunatly taking British Columbia as example the price differ from area to area (Vancouver price is different from Abbotsford for example). So Canada pricing is set to the average of the capital of each state and that's what the calculations are based of. Also i take in count the canadian dollar to american dollar conversion on the moment of the update...

What you say below makes no sense cause you don't even take in count Canadian dollar...

If you are unhappy with the mod, make one yourself...

Your calculations for Fuel Prices in British Columbia are off... Fuel in B.C. has been hovering around $1.50 a Liter for a hellova long time now. Conversion of Liters(metric) to the US Gallon is 4.5 SO... $1.50 x 4.5 = $6.75... now considering the USD is 25% less I'l take 1/4 of the price per USG off... and that makes it $5.06 USD. Still and all, its just a game .... but you want IRL prices... right? BTW... I've been low balling these prices a tad.

AbullCarriage

No, this mod sets the timezone designation to match real life (MST, PST, etc.)

im confused, do you need the real timezones for it to work?

No, WoT doesn't edit anything related to game files and gas prices are set in the game files
Soulios Atrika 2 Feb @ 3:37pm
I thought if you signed up for WoT that fuel prices are already updated to their real life averages per city and region?
