Alrighty! While you're active here, it seems like a fitting time to ask if you're okay with this model being ported to Killing Floor 2?
Know you didn't create it, but I couldn't find the origin of it from the description alone.

Also I downloaded and tested the addon on Steam before replying. It worked fine here. Not sure why it broke for you. Either way, being able to download it myself made it easy to update.

The reason you got a .gma file that doesn't extract is because it doesn't know how to handle GMod's own .bin format for legacy addons. That .bin format is parsed by GMod and generates a .gma, but isn't one itself. The downloader renames the download (which is a .bin) to .gma but doesn't actually generate the proper .gma.

Doesn't matter now, since the addon should no longer be using legacy addon type.

All Steam Workshop Downloader does is fetch a Steam download link, try re-subscribing to the addon and ensuring you don't have any leftover files from it. If Steam does the same thing there, the issue is likely on Steam's end

Looks like Steam Workshop Downloader doesn't know how to handle legacy (.bin) GMod addons.

Nothing is wrong with the addon itself, but I can confirm that if downloaded from "Steam Workshop Downloader", it fails to extract. I'll push an update to work around that issue and maybe that update will fix your other issue.
