Pvt.Swan (Marine) from FireTeam Immortal replaces the survivor ROCHELLE.

Backround Story:

Though not originally a SPARTAN II candidate, SWAN was living with her father who was a scientist that worked on the SPARTAN II program. Unfortunately early in the program her father and his group of scientists were caught in a lab accident, killing all those involved. The heads of the SPARTAN II program did not know what to do with SWAN and another child now that they were both parentless and had no known living relatives that could care for them. In the end, the heads of the program figured that they could use the two children in the SPARTAN II program. They were added to the group of SPARATAN II candidates, SWAN under the ID [S-213] and the other as MARAVILLA under the ID [S-209]. At first SWAN and MARAVILLA were too shy to work with the others, but they quickly learned that if they were going to get anywhere in the program they had to open up and work with the others. After many years of training with the other SPARTAN IIs it was filed that Candidates SWAN and MARAVILLA were not the best out of the group, but nor were they the worst. Eventually the day for the augmentation surgery came for the candidates. Though nearly all the candidates that were operated on died, both SWAN and MARAVILLA survived the operation. They may have survived the surgery but they were both horribly disfigured by the augmentations. The doctors that worked on them tried to restore them to their original form but were unable to bring them back to a reasonably working condition. Both SWAN and MARAVILLA were frozen in cryo-chambers until they were able to be operated on again with newer technology that could guarantee them a higher chance for full restoration. Many years went by with the two waiting in cryo-sleep. Eventually the time had come for the restoration operation. SWAN was given the restoring operation a year later after MARAVILLA had undergone the operation. The operation proved to be successful. Though she didn't have the body of a fully enhanced SPARTAN II, she was able to function as a normal human again. After rehab she was given a choice of either staying in the SPARTAN program and working alongside the other staff to train future SPARTANS, or to be released to the Marine Corp to help fight the covenant. Being a SPARTAN candidate she chose the latter. After having her body brought back to the military standard she was assigned to FireTeam Immortal stationed on REACH lead by fellow washed out SPARTAN II candidate Maravilla.
