----> Second Stage <----
< Getting Know The Interface >
After entering the information, we get to the level editor.
Let's start with the main thing that catches your eye:

ㅤ ㅤ --- Fields in the middle ---
- They meet us right away, I'll explain about everyone:

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤLeft field
- A slider that shows the easy and difficult moments in the map. This field can be used to rewind, like the player slider from the bottom of the screen.

All the difficulties are below:

Difficulty
Description
Beginner
The strip is painted white, in the future, it will be almost invisible on the slider.
Easy
A little lighter than white, it's already getting a little more difficult.
Normal
Painted in blue, suitable for players with little experience.
Above the Normal
Orange, for good reactionaries.
Hard
Red when fingers starts burns and ass is starting to burn too..
Insane
Purple - a sign that your fingers will say: "thank you"...
Expert
GRAY - 💀💀💀💀💀

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤField in the Middle
- A field intended for placing notes. It displays:
  • Multicolored stripes - The temp of the song. To place notes in beat with the music.
  • Audio track - Shows the audio output to the left and right earphone.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤRightmost Field
- Gameplay preview field.
If it is not displayed, select "View" in the upper-left corner, and turn on the first one "Display Gameplay Preview"

- Minus - Layers cannot be copied or transferred from one layer to another.
If you forget to change the layer for the next part of the song, you will have to transfer each note manually.

- In one word - HEMORRHOIDS

- Hitsounds - The sound for the note or notes selected using the "Select" tool. It is not recommended to use, because all users have different skins, respectively, and the hitsounds are also different. Therefore, if it sounds hype for you, then for others it may sound completely different, not the way you wanted

- The maximum that can be used with this instrument is the sounds of clapping
< Shortcuts >
-< Small Ent >-
- As in any other editor, QV also has its own Shortcuts. Programmers don't worry, CTRL+C / CTRL+V still works!

-< Basic Shorts >-
- I'll tell you about the Shortcuts that I've been using since the time of the dinosaurs:

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ-< Actions With Notes >-
-< CTRL + C >-
-< Of course >-ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
-< CTRL + V >-
-< Guess again... >-
-< CTRL + Z >-

< Background and Banner Installation >
Background | BG
To set the background, you need to move the BG Photo to the window where you create the map (Most formats are supported).

After that, you see this:
Cancel | BG | Banner

BG must be 1280x720 OR 2560x1440.
Also weight should not exceed 4 MB.

Banner
Move banner as well as the background.

BN must be: 421x82 OR 1263x243.
Weight should not exceed 2 MB.
< Setting the temp and Starting the song >
Every time you start creating a map, you need to set the tempo of the song.

// If you skip this point, the placement of the notes will be impossible! Also, map preview may not work! //

To do this, go to the "Tools" tab and select "Timing Point Editor"

To get started, set the beginning by clicking "Add" and set the tempo of the song in BPM.
The tempo can be finded manually, but to set it exactly, find the official tempo.

After that, use the arrows to adjust the beginning of the song. In the "Time" field, you need to specify the beginning when the first note is pressed.
It should look something like this:
To specify the start more precisely, you can change the "Playback Speed" from 50-25% Usually (not always) the beginning of the first note occurs when the sound in the audio track has jumped sharply, or reached high values.

< Previev >
Now we are setting up the "preview" of the song (when you select a map, the song is played from a certain moment).
To do this, in the song we find the chorus (a popular place for previews), and adjust it so that there are no unnecessary sounds before the chorus. (before the preview, we find bpm songs)

- Next, go to "Edit" and click
"Set Song Select Preview Time".

- Now, when you select your map in the menu, the music starts playing from the moment you set it.

< First Notes >
After setting the tempo and synchronizing it with the music, you can start playing the first notes as you want. The notes should stand like this:

If the note does not match the beat of the song, you can change the "Beat Snap" to catch the golden mean. You can also create your own Snap by clicking "Custom" and enter a number from 5 to many digits...(47 max)

After completing the construction of the entire map, you need to check whether all aspects for the initial map have been completed. You can check this in the same "AutoMod"

< Patterns >
You can use them to build most parts in the map. They need to be used correctly so that there is no unnecessary discomfort. Here is a list of patterns: ( thanks to the discord server moderators ♥♥♥ )

Now an explanation of each pattern:
Postscript - #js , #hs and other can be writen in Tags ( in Metadata )
If the #tags are repeated, that's how it should be!

----> Publication <----
<< Important Information >>
- If you want to publish the map, you will need to consider all the details that may become a problem in the future.

Select the "Edit" tab and click "Enable AutoMod". If you have a point where it says about the Bitrate (kps), the map can be considered half already dead. tk if you want to lay out a map and make it Rated (Ranked), the bitrate should not exceed 192 kbit/s.

To fix this, you can just surf the sites that change the bitrate.

Chapter about correcting the bitrate has also been created below.

(About "Ranked" and "Unranked" will be later)
<< Publishing Map >>
When you are done creating your map, we can start publishing it.
There are two ways to share with your map:

1. Publish it to the public ( Unranked )
To do this, go to "Edit" and find "Upload": or press "CTRL+U"

2. Save the map on your PC
To do this, go to "Edit" and find "Export": or press "CTRL+E"

In this way you can store Mapset on your PC, or send to people via chat as a regular file.
To open it, you just need to transfer a file from folder/table to the game, while in menu.
(just like you threw MP3/PNG file to create a map...)

1.2 Post it to the public ( Ranked )
To do this, go to "Edit" and find "Sumbit for Rank". There is no combination...
- This map will start its long journey in order to get 2 votes for the public in the Rating.
- By posting to the rating, we will be able to observe how others will fight for first place.
- You can also play your map by fighting with others.
Also, if the map becomes a Rating one and there is no top list on it yet, you can quickly play it and get one of the difficult achievements:

He was the very first!

Take the top 1 on any map...

( Ranked Only! )
Also after that, by opening the profile you will be able to see the maps that you have created:

Also after that, by opening the profile you will be able to see the maps that you have created:
- Also, after publishing the map for verification, you can track its position in the queue.
- The queue is here: https://quavergame.com/mapsets/queue
- After publication, it will be located somewhere at the end, after values of "On Hold"
- On average, the map will be located 2-3 months on check ( 4 max... )
- Check the map regularly for corrections from moderators. You need to go to the queue website and find your map. If you are logged in to your account, the map will light up with a blue stripe:

- Click on the title, and if you see a comment from the moderator that talks about some nuances, you need to correct everything that was written to you.

- After all corrections, you also need to go to "Edit" and click "Upload" to update the map for further checks.
- Pressing "Sumbit for Rank" is not necessary , the map will retain its position in the queue where it was.

-<Please Note >-
- ONLY One Mapset can be sent to the queue!
<< Actions after Moderators notes >>
-<Intro >-
If your mapset has disappeared from the Queue, do not panic. Log in to your profile and look at the activity list:

If it says about your mapset, click on the name and go to the "Ranking" tab:
- Next, you will see Comments from Moderators that you need to take into account and correct in your map.

Now let's talk about the possible states of the map:
  • Pending 1/2 - The map is still in the queue, but already has one positive vote to the map.
  • Resolved 1/2 - The map will have such a title, after correcting the moderator's notes and getting one vote to the map.
  • On Hold 0/2 - The map will be sent for correction and disappear from the queue. You need to correct the notes from the Moderators, then click "Sumbit For Rank" in the Editor. The map will return to the place in the queue where it stood.
  • Denied - The mapset will be withdrawn from the queue and Banned for 14 days. During this period, you need to fix all the flaws and return to the queue, BUT the mapset will pass Again The entire Queue! (it certainly hurts to look at it, but that's fate)
  • Blacklisted - The mapset will be Banned, and you will no longer be able to send it to the queue. Who received this - am sorry...

----> Advanced Life Hacks <----
<<< Bitrate change on the finished map >>>
<<- A Short Introduction ->>
- If you suddenly forgot to see if the bitrate is suitable and have already built a map, and then found out that the bitrate is higher than 192 kbp/s, there is a solution how to fix it without rebuilding the map!

<<- Requirements ->>
- By changing Bitrate, the song should be The same duration that you used to build the map/mapset.

- If you change the bitrate and length of the song, the game will not understand that the duration of the song has been changed and nothing will change in appearance. Unfortunately, you will not extend the song forward, but rather extend it Backwards. (PS/ decided to extend the song by a second more, but got the result in the form of the beginning of the song in -1 second. Because of this, the editor just lies down and has to fix everything back.)

1. Method: Replacement Via .Qua File (Lightweight)

- First, we change the Bitrate of the mp3 file and make sure that the duration matches the source. After that, we drop the result into the folder with the map /mapset.
We transfer the result to the folder ---->

- Then open the file in the folder ".qua" using notepad or another editor:

In the "AudioFile" field, change "audio.mp3" to the name of the result.
For example: audio.mp3 ----> sasayaki.mp3

It is important not to forget to transfer the result to a folder, otherwise there will simply be no music in the editor!

2. The method is also via .qua but with the possibility of lengthening the song (Difficult)
<<- About this method ->>
- Technically, we are creating a new mapset, but in fact we are editing a ready-made map/mapset, transferring it to another environment.

- I can't fit in pictures and GIFs here, so here is a mini video about this method.

- This guide has been dedicated for more than a month! Therefore, I hope that you will appreciate this guide and support me! ✊🥰✊

- I would really appreciate it if you would reward this guide! I'll even be satisfied with 100 points! I was going to create another manual, but I decided for myself to work through this manual. When the quality of this guide suits me, I will start making another guide!
---< Youtube Ch@nnel >---
- I created YouTube Channel, where I will post my footages, where I create Maps (and not only that). In these videos, I from the beginning to the end (map publications) write down and explain the actions that I did. Everyone can view the entire stage of map creation!

tanoluciano - make sure, you background is 1280x720 and weight 4MB. Also check the format of your background. You can use PNG, JPG, JPEG. I prefer those formats. You can convert you bg on sites, like Convertio . If it doesnt works too, send me your bg at this email: help.kadzuru.product@gmail.com
