Star Citizen: Arena Commander

Description
Welcome to Star Citizen's Arena Commander, Space Engineers edition! Hop in the cockpit of three available ships and battle your friends to the death!

First in the lineup is the RSI Aurora MR. Equipped to be a jack of all trades, it may not pack the biggest punch, but it is quite nimble, and if you need to shed some extra weight, drop that cargo container on your pursuer's nose! That ought to slow them down while you make your getaway!

Second in our collection of ships is the Anvil Super Hornet. This ship is designed with combat in mind. The super hornet is unique compared to other hornets in regards to its cockpit among other things. You can have a copilot on board with you, helping keep track of that bogie trying to outmaneuver you! Is your target trying to outrun you? No worries! This super hornet has superb acceleration, and enough firepower to take down a fleet of Vanduul Scythes! Did I mention, that this thing is rugged? The thick armor on this ship will ensure that when that 325a clips you with its wings, you'll keep flying, and they won't!

Last and certainly not least in our lineup is the Origin 325A. Have you ever wanted a ship that isn't just fast and sleek, but can hold its own in a fight as well? Well this is the ship for you! The 325A has hull lines that force air to hug its aerodynamic curves in atmospheric flight and maintain an eye catching style that will make your opponent stare out the window at your ship as they run headlong into an asteroid with their hornet. Better make sure they're actually out of the game though, since they have all that heavy armor holding them together. Your quad missile launchers should make an easy job of them, not only annihilating them, but digging a hole 6 feet into that asteroid for them too!

We hope you guys enjoy these. We'll be making variants of these as well before too long!

KeggerN7 and Purrfect-Blinky, out.

Important notes:

To open the door of the 325a hit the TOP button. To close the door, hit the BOTTOM button! If I could have an action in the timer blocks turn off the appropriate buttons, I would, however right now, the power to buttons cannot be turned off for some odd reason!

The custom weapons that we intended to be on these have been removed and replaced with vanilla weapons due to a bug that currently does not allow most of the mod weapons to be used.

We left out asteroids so you didn't have a super laggy world loading up. Feel free to spawn a few though and create obstacles to fly through and hide behind!

@tjhavens03: I have a couple of older ships on the workshop that are 100% Vanilla. They are a bit outdated now, since they were built before mods, conveyors, merge blocks, etc... Some of my screenshots show one that never went up to the workshop.

Unmodded, large ship.

Modded, Larger small ship.

I want to see what you do with a custom 100% vanilla ship of your own design.

Typically from the Brochures for various ships, or we go by the preliminary specs (and sometimes have to change the ships later).

You can find a lot of information on the ships here:

Where do you you get your specs

We go and find the most accurate specs possible and use many many reference pictures to consult while building. Sometimes this means rebuilding an entire section if we don't feel something looks right. Blinky and I joke about how our motto should be no block on turned. Above all else though, 1:1 scale is most important to us. We try to make sure our ships are accurate to the size that they're supposed to be.

How do you guys design your builds?

You guys are still awesome.
