Description
This weapon is designed after the GAU-22/A Equalizer, the gatling found on the modern F-35 Lightning II Fighter.
This weapon is built for air-to-air and air-to-ground combat while equipped on small-grid fighters. Shorter bursts reward the pilot with a higher overall rate of fire as they avoid overheating the weapon. Weapon stats and features encourage this type of dynamic game-play. Although custom turret controllers can use and fire this weapon, they have trouble leading targets at extreme ranges (over 2km) and cannot manage the heat buildup, causing longer periods between bursts. Best operated by a human, engineer!



Only one instance of this weapon may be placed on each grid.

Weapon Stats and Details
  • Has custom sounds, particles, and tracers.
  • Has 2 ammotypes: 25x137mm API and 25x137mm HEI.
  • Max range of 3km.
  • Linear damage falloff after 2km.
  • Projectiles arc under natural gravity.
  • Projectiles slow gradually over time.
  • Different tracers for each ammotype.
  • Weapon fires at 3600 rpm.
  • Weapon takes 4 seconds to overheat.
  • Weapon takes 4 seconds to empty a mag.
  • Weapon takes 4 seconds to reload.
  • Weapon takes 12 seconds to cool fully.
  • Supports custom skins.

25x137mm Armor Piercing Incendiary

Does 75% kinetic damage on impact, then 25% energy damage as an incendiary effect afterwards. Does reduced damage to components and bonus damage to armor. Shields treat this ammo as kinetic damage.

25x137mm High Explosive Incendiary

Does 25% kinetic damage on impact, then 75% energy damage as an explosive effect afterwards. Does reduced damage to armor and bonus damage to components. Shields treat this ammo as energy damage.

Wow, I really like the mod, the sounds and implementation are the best, but I have a problem with it, the gun does not want to be loaded with cartridges from the storage. It does not receive ammunition through the conveyors, although everything is connected

I have posted a new version of the mod that fixes a bug and removes the block placement limit.

Is the limiting of one of these per grid intentional? If so, you may want to list that somewhere. I'm new to WeaponCore so I might be missing something.
