Mars Terraformed

Description
What Mars might look like after extensive terraforming, based on a NASA topographic map taken by orbiting satellites and real, though not professional climatology. I chose to be generous with the sea level so the planet would be greener, though its extreme Martian nature is still present in many regions.

Huge, Large, and Standard sized maps are provided, each with the normal number of Natural Wonders. Resources are random and the Natural Wonders are all from the Vanilla game, so no exp is required. The maps have geographic labels spread throughout to add to immersion.

The Martian Deserts, which stand out because they are slightly redder (especially their mountains) would be like Peru's high altitude, low-oxygen, extremely dry, and lifeless Atacama Desert. So, nothing can be built here, including barbarian camps! The same is true for the Snow tiles. Both have the new Wastes (or Wastelands) feature to represent this. These areas also take twice as long to traverse.

--How to Use the Maps--
After enabling the mod, select Mars Terraformed from the normal list of map types on the right, and then the map's size. If you prefer you can also find the maps in the mod's folder and copy them to your Maps folder, then they will appear in your "additional maps" list and you can play it in multiplayer if the other people have the exact same version of the map in their Maps folders too! This second option would only include the base map and not the mod which recolors the terrain, adds the map labels, and adds the Wastes feature, etc.

-Inspired by Chris Wayan's Mars Reborn project at Planetocopia. The thumbnail for this post is from Wikipedia.
-The Martian Mountains textures are from the Map of Planet mod.

I downloaded map labels mod, tried to make it work but I was stuck somewhere in the middle where it leads me to FireTuner. I can't get my head around it. Help me please!

Hello. I've been creating maps for past several months now and I'd like to know how did you use those so called map labels?

This looks awesome, I might edit this comment to review after I've played on it but for now i desperately want to know, how did you get those geographic labels to work?
