    • Noble Patron Budget: Requires aristocratic elite. This edict that increases the output from the researcher of the planet according to the Nobles POP. The cost is somewhat heavy.
    • Intensive Central R&D Institute: Requires corporate authority or merchant guild. This edict that greatly increases the output and upkeep costs of researchers. The cost is energy.
