This mod adds Algeria to the game as a playable civilization. This mod requires the Brave New World expansion (DLC).

Strategy

Religion increases your cities' Defenses greatly. The Zawiya facilitates this ability by providing Faith. You should first build this in the city with the most adjacent terrain types. Build defensive structures as well for automatic Dey generation. Deys can be used to claim luxuries without having to found a city there. Lonely strategic resources on desert may be exploited more effectively.

Troubleshooting

If you subscribed, but it doesn't show up:
1. Turn off the game.
2. Delete the Civ5ModsDatabase.db from Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache.
3. Launch the game and go to the mod section again.
After waiting for a brief period, all missing downloads should initiate and install!

If that didn't work, try this:
1. Go to Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS
2. If there is a .civ5mod file in that folder, open that with 7zip, Winrar or similar software
3. Unzip/unpack the contents in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS

Great mod, just wish the civilization icon was different. The French second republic one is not one that is attributed to independent Algeria. Otherwise awesome stuff man.

It's strange how all other leaders have their eyes facing the viewer whilst this one doesn't. I suggest this should be changed.

Obviously it has been commented on numerous times in this thread, but the TSL is not correct. I love this civ...I would love it more on Africa. On a Ynaemp map with Timurid in the game, they start right next to one another...not an ideal situation on games above the emperor setting ;)

Nee, ik moet nog E&D support maken en nog voor een paar andere mods, maar ben druk deze week, dus kan niet veel doen. Ik wil niet te vaak mijn mods updaten, beter alles in 1x ;)
