By boop
There are a lot of weapons in Door Kickers. Some are just bad, while others are excellent. This guide will talk about the 5 best weapons and how one should use them. I've 3-starred every level, so I know what's up in terms of performance.

The P90
50 rounds of armor piercing doom at 900 rpm.

P90 is love, P90 is life.

It has the full auto goodness of an SMG except it's not in a pistol caliber so it'll punch through armor.

50 rounds means you won't have to reload, in 95% of scenarios.

and it's low recoil means at long distances you'll have fast followup shots. However you may prefer the TAR-21 at range due to the better accuracy.

It has high moving accuracy, and it's bullpup nature lets you get really up close to walls while still being able to shoot.

The playstyle of this gun? pure aggression, but be careful engaging multiple armored targets. Semi-auto shotguns may be better for this due to the high alpha damage of them. However the P90 wins out as one of THE most flexible, versatile, and effective guns in the game. It is the ultimate answer in mobile firepower.
The Benelli M4 (Joint Combat Shotgun)
This shotgun is kick-ass fed from a tube. Enter a room of bad guys with this bad boy and paint the walls with their blood. It's got more reliable spread than the Saiga-12, and seems to fire faster as well.

If you're having trouble with armored troopers and they aren't half the map away, try the JCS, as it will RUIN THEIR DAY. Literally this gun will destroy a juggernaut up close before they can react. Any room clearing problem is solved with adequate application of JCS and flashbangs. Literally. 8 Operator Orvilles in a room can be cleared with JCS and a Flash. I'd dare say that even long range problems can be solved with JCS, but the collateral damage is immense.

The JCS should be your go-to shotgun for most purposes, and your go-to gun on those cramped apartment maps. 2 shells of buckshot puts down Operator Orvilles and Grenadier Glenns like no other. Shotguns at close range are literally the most reliable way of putting down armored targets. (apart from the sniper) Sometimes even one shell does the trick, but the semi-auto action of the JCS makes followup shows super quick and reliable. Pump shotguns are not as good for this reason, their ability to shoot a target immediately after a door breach, or engage multiple targets or do followup shots is markedly inferior to the JCS.
The M1911 or The Five-seveN (FS AP)
Back when Doorkickers wasn't even on steam, this and the M4 Carbine were the only weapons in game.

But really only a quick look at the stats reveals why this gun destroys so much face. Maxed out stats on everything but accuracy.

Let's be honest, secondaries aren't very important, and when you transition to them the 2 things that are most important are speed of followup shots and stopping power. The 1911 outclasses every other pistol in these (HK45 fires slower, Glock 17 is weaker). Once you put a target down with a 1911, go to safety, reload, then transition to your primary and reload that. Magazine size really isn't important, and 8 shots of .45 are enough to kill most things in the game, and mag changes are very quick anyways.

the alternative is the FS AP pistol

the Five-seveN also has great accuracy, and great followups. It's slightly less reliable at dropping targets, but assuming your pistol skills are maxed, the mozambique taps you spit out should drop them fast. Generally, if the mission is all unarmored targets, the M1911 will be a safer choice. However if there's a mix or just armored, FS AP all the way, due to the better AP properties of the 5.7mm round, as well as the larger magazines.
The TAR-21 (SAR-18)
Sometimes, you just need a rifle to get the job done. The Tavor is pretty much the best rifle in game with maxed out accuracy and stopping power stats, it seems to fire fast and consistently at most ranges. The M4 Carbine is an acceptable replacement if you don't have the points, but is inferior in CQB because it is "longer", while the Tavor is more effective in a building (tho not as good in the pure dakka category as the P90)

Take the Tavor for the guys who like to hang back and provide cover fire, but get keep an eye out for nades because Glenn loves to drop some explosive eggs on those who do that. The superior accuracy to the P90 will result in reduced TTK against targets at range. But keep your distance as up close auto M4s and Mac-10s have the potential to overwhelm you with their firepower.
The P90SD (with a caveat)
It's a P90 but suppressed. Nuff said

you lose some stopping power, but in exchange you get a really sweet firing sound and the benefits of a suppressed gun. it retains it's AP characteristics, so it's the most effective suppressed SMG at piercing armor, from my experience. the MP7SD comes in at second but isn't as powerful.

Play aggressively but beware of the increased TTK. If you do so the P90SD will serve you well.

HOWEVER

if you're playing a really close map and need to be sure you can drop someone guaranteed, the Six12SD is worth a shot. really a fun gun to use too. However its effectiveness tapers off at range.

It should be noted that the nosie range of the PS90SD is 13 meters while most SMG alternatives have 3 to 4 meter ranges.

Just a small correction but the P90's bullets are classed as pistol rounds. The 5.7mm class is a pistol cartridge. It's found in pistols and PDW based platforms. It's not a rifle round and there is no such thing as an SMG cartridge. Not to be that guy but I had to make that correction, otherwise good guide

mk17 is really good for long range sniping, and I personally prefer the ksg because it has a bigger mag

Real high-speed men use weapons based on how cool they look and how tactical they are.

KSG the best shotgun in the game by far, almost the same rate of fire as 1014 but with insanely large tube capacity.

who needs a p90 when you can take a silenced pistol and 3 shot anything
