Mars Defence Faction MCV

This is a large grid rover designed for operating as a [m]obile [c]ommand [v]ehicle for purposes of surface ore prospecting, and basic mining. It is primarily Solar powered, with a hydrogen engine backup.

This is not a Blue Mining Inc Spec Vehicle, so it only has basic redundancy.

It is equipped with the following systems:
Headlights and a spotlight.
Survival kit for basic ore processing and suit life support.
Oxygen/Hydrogen generation
Oxygen / Hydrogen tanks
Pressurised crew cabin for operator comfort.
Supports up to 4 crew, uncomfortably, 3 crew stations allowing seating/sleeping, 1 standing room only.
(there is two spaces near the engine where additional half block beds etc can be added if necessary)
Backup V10 hydrogen generator.
Two solar panels.
3 large Batteries
Basic drilling rig.
Connector and sorter, for ejecting undesirable ore or unloading cargo.
Outriggers for additional stability while mining or basic recovery operations.
Ladder Access to the ground and roof, avoiding need for jet pack.
Ample Storage (several small cargo containers)

Internally there are 4 spaces adjacent to the hydrogen engine that can be repurposed for storage, beds or consoles.
There is also a space on top of the drilling rig where a turret could be installed for operation in hostile territory if needed.
