1. Go to your game directory, look for the .exe (application) file; Right click on it, and select Properties. Check the boxes run as admnistrator and disable full-screen optimization. Set compatibility mode to WINDOWS 7.
2. Right click on BatmanAK.exe, click properties and where it says BatmanAK just hit the space and type -dx11. Problem solved.

One of the most common reasons people have issues with Batman: Arkham Knight is because of outdated GPU drivers, install the latest GPU drivers from the links below.

If you dont see the GFXSettings.BatmanArkhamKnight.xml anywhere around the directory of WB Games>Batman Arkham Knight it means you probably have to reinstall the game.

DO NOT DELETE GFX. This image below is only for you to know the directory place and check if it's there. Only delete these if you run out of options!



People having trouble running the game fullscreen, so I tried forcing windowed mode and it finally worked!

Go to Steam's Library > right click on Batman: Arkham Knight > Properties > Set launch options > write in -windowed > OK > Close. Click on the Play button and see if it works now.

It will start in windowed mode of course, but you can then Alt+ENTER to fullscreen. After the game runs sucessfully once you can even remove the -windowed and it should launch fine and go straight to fullscreen. I believe it's related to some configuration files being created on first run.
