Half Life 2: Update Particle Fix

YOU MUST MOUNT HALF LIFE 2: UPDATE THROUGH MOUNT.CFG AND UNMOUNT THE BASE HALF LIFE 2 GAME FOR THIS TO WORK (SEE LAST PICTURE)!

This fixes the missing particle effects from Half Life 2: Update by precaching the particles through the LUA system. If you happen to find a particle effect that is missing in a level, let me know and I will fix it.

To mount Half Life 2: Update onto Garry's Mod, go to your GarrysMod/garrysmod/cfg folder, open mount.cfg, then add the installation path to your Half Life 2: Update. It should look something like this (the file path to YOUR installation of HL2: Update will look different than mine, so don't just copy/paste!):

Half Life 2: Update works much better than the default HL2 game for these reasons:

• Better lighting
  
• Map HDR fixes (yes you can play without HDR now!)
  
• Some locations are improved with new particle effects
  
• Small fixes (for example: Breen is actually animated during the Kleiner lab teleport sequence)
