[Dizzy] Simple Chains: Steel

Description
Updated for RW v1.5. As this is one of OwlChemist's few XML only mods, I'll maintain this one until The Owlie returns. Required a few fixes for v1.5 (sound errors) and it's good to go. I WISH OWLIE was back!

I changed "authorship" and PackadeID so that it is a separated mod and won't confuse modmanagers. I KNOW I'm no Owlchemist!

Oh and this mod doesn't require any coal mod addition, it's built in!

Original Description:

Compacted steel? In *my* mountain? I don't think so! Return to the basics of production chain antics with this iron to steel mod. Used in conjunction with Coal mod, your pawns will now have to work double hard to start building up their steel reserves. Steel is now a manufactured resourced created by combining coal and raw iron at the bloomery or the smithy. Work work work!

I'm blessed. Thank you for finding an alternative.

since I've found a replacement I forgive you

coal expanded has a generic patch that allows coal being used everywhere

@pointemorte: Not thinking passive coolers are going to use coal. Not thinking a wood fired heater in a mod I don't use (Furniture Expanded Pack) is going to receive a patch. I don't run vanilla medieval. Stew pots, or any of the rest of what you mention.

This mod never patched for anything you're mentioning in the first place.

Look at the file: patch.owlchemist.simplechains.steel.xml. Have at it and patch yourself silly.

passive coolers are ok if you use dubs hygiene which changes requirement from wood to water

wood-fired heater ([FM] furniture expanded pack) doesn't work as well
pointemorte. 28 Aug @ 12:32am
darklight + norma hearths (vanilla medieval) don't work too, same thing with passive coolers

Stew pot (vanilla expanded), fireplace (rebuild), wall-mounted fireplace (rebuild), darktorches, firepits normal and dark (vanilla expanded), chandelier (owl's simple utilities) don't work

@pointemorte Fixed. Damned annoying problem. v1.6 Rimworld moved the consumable to the abstract torchbase out of torchlamp. GAH! Also added in wall torch refuel-able with coal now too. Which bug you did NOT catch! So, nah!
