Until Then, Full achievement guide

This guide contains spoilers for the game. I tried to limit it as much as I could while still having all the information necessary for this to be a good guide but do expect to be spoiled if you read the whole guide before playing.

If you wish to get all achievements in one play through, I suggest reading the chapters as you are in them. (e.g. If you are on Chapter 2, read the achievements for Chapter 2 only). Or even better yet, read only the achievements in the section of the chapter you are in as they are all labelled in the guide, (this is for convenience later if you need to go back).
Legend:
Italics: Notes about my experience unlocking the achievement (are not entirely relevant and you don't need to read them)
Spoiler: Anything with the spoiler bar says information that is the specific answer or solution to get the achievement. If you are struggling with what to say or do, the solution is behind the spoiler bar.
Bold: The bold text just states which achievements can only be unlocked in specific runs so you know which ones to get before you move on. (This is not to say any achievements are missable. You will just have to wait until the full completion of the game to go back and get them)

Chapter 1
In Chapter 1: Reminder, confidently lie to Louise when she asks about the slides.
"What do you mean" "We got your back" "You can trust me" "See you"
THIS ACHIEVEMENT CAN ONLY BE UNLOCKED IN THE FIRST AND SECOND PLAY THROUGH

In Chapter 1: Subway, when choosing a station, choose anything but Liamson for 10 turns. Doing this will unlock the achievement.

In Chapter 1: Subway, when buying the ticket, pay for it using only the "1-peso" option. I had to pay for the full ticket like this unlike what the achievement suggests that you only need to insert it once. (thank you Sylphrit for helping me write this correctly)

In Chapter 1: On the Train, make a comment on any post and like your own comment to get this achievement.

In Chapter 1: On the Train, like 100 comments. I did this by just liking every comment on every post until I got the achievement.

In Chapter 1: On the Train, share 10 posts. Again, I did this by just sharing every post until I got the achievement.

In Chapter 1: Cramming, choose at least one of the wrong answers. Group members, Russian memes, Cool transitions, Images of Celebrities, Flashy text effects, etc. The achievement wont actually unlock until the PowerPoint is presented

In Chapter 1: Break Time, grab all the pins off of the pin board in the hallway outside of class.

In Chapter 1: Street Food, you must get all 4 fish balls and win the game. I tried going for 2 in one at the start of the matches but ended up without the achievement so it has to be 1 per round (at least at this point in the game development) despite being able to get 2 in a round at the beginning.

Chapter 2
This is achievement is unlocked during Chapter 2: Please Save Me. In the hallway, simply don't choose any of the options when prompted until you reach the end of the hallway.

In the same scene as the previous achievement. Choose either option when prompted until you reach the end of the hallway. If you don't dodge all obstacles (except the last which is unavoidable) you wont get with achievement.

Chapter 3
In Chapter 3: Arrival, when paying darts, get a bullseye on the first throw. This was admittedly, one of the hardest achievements, but with a bit of patience to get through all the dialogue every time, as long as your cursor is in the right spot, and you land in the green, you will get a bullseye.

In Chapter 3: Arrival, when playing in the haunted house, scare the most people. The bars show how long they can be scared for and the colour of the bar shows who is scaring them. I found the best strategy is to just chase one person to exhaustion, while scaring off the people who are about to leave because of Nicole. I ended up winning 13 to 3 so i reckon it works.

Chapter 4
In Chapter 4: Imaginary Part, choose to speak back against the gossips instead of silently following Louise.

* NOTE: In Chapter 4: Real Part, Take all the pins off of the pin board on the side right side of the room. This is important for a later achievement!



In Chapter 4: Chasing Running, when asked which cookie's you'd like to buy, choose the heart shaped ones.

In Chapter 4: Welcome Home, when playing the videoke game on the left side of the room get a score of 85-99. I must admit this one was slightly harder to get than the 100 achievement because I didn't know how much to get incorrect to get in this range (I suggest just getting 1 or 2 if you can). Honestly, I just kept replaying the same song until i had it down by memory. I'm really bad at rhythm games :(

In Chapter 4: Welcome Home, when playing the videoke game on the left side of the room, get a score of 100. Again, I just kept replaying the same song until i had it down by memory. This achievement will probably be easier for you guys than it was me.

Chapter 5
In Chapter 5: Audition Day, get all perfects in the audition. This achievement might be among the hardest to get so I have a few tips that helped me.
  1. Take advantage of the practise you can do in your room before hand, you can play your audition song with a metronome and really just get a feel for the song before you even audition. This way you don't have to go through all the dialogue just to practise again.
  2. Set your key binds to something comfortable. I had mine as "a,s,f,g" so my hands would be comfortable and so I could focus on what finger to push based on where it was on the screen not the direction of the arrow.
  3. Be aware that the background sometimes changes to white that makes the arrows harder to see during the audition. I don't really have a solution to that, just be aware.
  4. There are slow long holds towards the end of the song, use these to calm down a bit from the stress from the previous section lol.

This achievement is a nice change of pace after the few previous ones. In Chapter 5: Many Minds, beat Nicole to the top of the hill. Just keep your bar in the green to progress forward. This is super easy.

Chapter 1? This seems familiar..
*NOTE: In Chapter 1: Break Time, grab all the pins off of the pin board in the hallway outside of class. I swear I already did this..... but I have a feeling it needs to be done for something later.


In Chapter 2: Jeepney Ride, don't miss any of the coins in the rhythm game. The checkpoint only has a little bit of dialogue at the start that is easy to skip over. I highly suggest playing with the music and you'll get it eventually.

In Chapter 2: Jeepney Ride, miss every coin. Just don't do anything and this achievement is in the bag. Well, your bag, not the drivers. Poor guy.

Chapter 3, Again..
In Chapter 3: Departure, despite knowing where the ball is, choose another cup to get this achievement.

Haven't I already done Chapter 1?

*NOTE: In Chapter 1: Break Time, grab all the pins off of the pin board in the hallway outside of class.................. No I've already done this...... what is happening????

Chapter 2.... Again. Again. Again. Again. Again. Again. Again. Again. Again. Ag-
In Chapter 2: Untestable, Carve the tree like crazy until Mark says he is done.

Chapter 4.. I will fix this
In Chapter 4: Quantum Tsunami, grab all the pins off of the pin board in the hallway outside of class. A guard will stop you at first, keep going until you can't. You will have to come back to this board after talking with Louise to get the rest of the pins. (thank you to Zullfix for helping me correct this part)
The achievement will only unlock if you got all the pins from all the 4 previous boards mentioned throughout the guide! 4 of them are the same board outside the hallway of the classroom and 3 of the 4 are the same chapter name and everything so it isn't hard to go back and find them. The only notable ones are the 1 in the science classroom which despite seeing multiple times, it can only be accessed once, in the first play, and the final board because you have to remember to return to it.
Thank you to @zaaaz and @not trolling in the comments for helping me fix this achievement in the guide as I had previously misunderstood which prerequisites were needed.
Chapter 5 For the last time.
In Chapter 5: Until Then, get 100% perfects in the final performance.
I have mainly the same tips as the last time:
  1. Take advantage of the practise you can do in your room before hand, you can play Nicole's song to get a feel for it before you play the duet. I should note that it is not the same arrows as the final performance but practising first helps avoid the long dialogue just to try again and lets you feel the time signature and tempo. The final performance really isn't that hard so if you understand these two things you should get it in ten tries or less.
  2. Set your key binds to something comfortable. I had mine as "a,s,f,g" so my hands would be comfortable and so I could focus on what finger to push based on where it was on the screen not the direction of the arrow.
  3. Be aware that the background sometimes changes to white that makes the arrows harder to see during the duet. I don't really have a solution to that, just be aware.
  4. There are slow long holds in between the quick short notes throughout the song, use these to calm down a bit from the stress from the previous section lol.
This achievement will only unlock after all the dialogue afterwards is complete so do not stress if you know you got 100% perfection but the achievement did not unlock straight away

Managed to get 100%, thank you!
Some tips I'd like to share:

Jumong: the hardest imo, I found out that whenever I was alt-tabing during the aiming phase, the cursor was more stable for a few seconds. If you take too long and it starts to be unstable, you can alt-tab again. As to the shooting phase, I tried to press as soon as the cursor was descending once it reached the top.

Basta driver, sweet lover: I was keeping the beat with my other hand while playing this.

Birit queen: picked Bahay Kubo as it is slow and does not have many sections with a very fast cursor. Just learn the right timing of the first note, and during the phases where there are a lot of notes to hold that are close together, hold not too long as you might miss the following note.

Virtuoso and The Missing Piece: in the settings, you can adjust the lane speed, to me 1.0 was too fast. Try different values and see which one works best for you. Just know that the notes will be closer if you decrease the speed.

For the jeepney minigame, hit space whenever Cath brings down her arm mid body level. It works for me 100% of the time I replay the minigame. At first, I also thought it was bugged. It's just poorly designed minigame.

yes in the following playthroughs u cannot achieve those achievements but without spoiling too much, you will eventually finish and be able to go back and get chapter and play specific achievements so its no problem if you missed them!

hii, im at chapter 4 and as i scrolled down i saw a few which you indicated "only 1st playthrough" etc,, does that mean in subsequent playthroughs its unachievable?
