คำอธิบาย


Rimworld: Soundscape Enhanced is a project with the purpose of revamping/replacing almost every sound in Rimworld in order to create a new experience for the player. I have spent a lot of time working on completely new weapon sounds as well as new alternative UI sounds and many more various improvements to the soundscape that fit right in with the world of the Rim.

Completely New Weapon Sounds & Explosions (Core, Biotech & Royalty)
Revamped Bullet Impacts + New Variations & Melee Sounds
Overhauled UI Elements (Letter Alerts, Building, Tools)
New Ambient Sounds (Wind, Rain, Jungle)
Revised sounds for various Buildings/Devices
New and Improved Mech & Mech Turret Sounds
Improved Psycast Sounds (Neuroquake)
Overhauled sounds for various interactions between pawns and objects
New sounds for various map & world events (Psychic Ship, Mechboss Arrival)
...and many more changes!



It's recommended to load this mod before other mods that modify sound files to avoid issues.
This mod can safely be added and removed from a savefile as it just affects audio files.
Rimworld's outdated FMOD plugin can cause some issues on lower-end hardware.

yea I know it's not an error from your end, I just find it funny that I had to sift through 700 mod to find issue. Hope Tynan fixs it.

So this is the mod that causes my pc to hog after quiting game and creating player.log for over 50gb if untouched. lol

Apparently the exit to menu first doesn't work every time :)) So best solution is to just close the game from the task manager directly.

If install the mod

The error continues to accumulate in the log, causing problems

Yeah, the 'bug' there is within RW's sound-plugin FMOD. RW would need to update their Unity-version to get rid of that. And it doesn't affect everyone the same - so there's probably some relation to the user's hardware as well. Only thing you can really do is to kill the game via Task Manager to make sure it doesn't close in bugged state and keeps logging the error hidden from the user - that's what tends to case those 200GB large Player.log-files.

As a temporary fix, you can close the game to main menu first, wait a few seconds and then exit.

Yeah, the problem lies in the game's code which I am obviously not able to change, I'm guessing that this comes from the ambient sound files as they're constantly playing, nobody knows what the real cause behind this problem is and this kinda ruins my mod as I set out to change every sound, especially the ambient noises which I spent a lot of time on. I'm afraid there's nothing I can do to fix this issue and we'd have to count on Ludeon themselves to implement a fix, I'm still looking for a solution though. Odd I've never encountered this myself though in my hours of playing with this mod
