ABOUT

Alternia in Crisis is a total conversion mod for Hearts of Iron IV set in the universe of Homestuck on Alternia. It's currently in Beta 1.2.1 and has playable content, though there's a lot more to come!

STORY

1922 (human) years after the death of the Sufferer, the Alternian Empire would enter a period of decline. General strikes, the network of Drones being hacked, and a revolution led to the collapse of the eternal Alternian Empire.

Throughout the 1920s, new countries would emerge in what used to be Alternia. The Condesce returned from outer space to rebuild and reclaim her Empire. Karkat Vantas struggles to hold onto his grip over the Resistance. Democratically-minded Seadwellers have defected to Feferi's Queendom of Oceanus. Humans arrived through a portal at various points around Alternia. And tensions are brewing in the East where a Collectivist state has risen in the ashes of backwards aristocracy.

It is now 1936, and the time is ripe for the Empire to try to reclaim what was once all rightfully its. Its goal: The complete domination of Alternia, and the eradication of all trolls who stood against it.

Will the Resistance manage to survive, or are the fragmented states of Alternia doomed to fall like dominoes to the Condesce's mobilizing armies?

A full custom radio station is also in the game, so you don't have to listen to HOI4's music the whole time.

Murderous Kingdom of Gamzee

More countries will also be added over time and the current countries will be fleshed out more.

loved it! even for being a beta this mod is awesome!

i'm sure and i hope that the focus trees will be updated with more "personal" ones, like for Gamzee, Marvus or even Karako i dunno, for example like, gamzee will create a faction called the "dark carnival" and all the purple bloods get in. / or that the empires get to cover more land and not just north america and europe.

still, i'm glad to have found this mod! the devs did a good work!
