Not sure if it helps you, but if you use the Random Starter options, you should not even see a "Start Game" button. It auto-starts after the setup is chosen.
I played Master Trainer YEARS ago, and absolutely loved it. Have never seena reasonably priced copy lmfao!
When you start the game, you click a Start Game button that asks you what Pokemon gens you want to use, which rivals and which gym leaders. So if you want to play this map in its purest form, you just set it to Gen IV only / Gen IV and Sinnoh.
