I can confirm the issue with the portraits reverting. This also happens with another student mod with a custom portrait. I made a bug report about it to the developers.
As far as the model disappearing, I couldn't reproduce that error. But I made note of it in my bug report anyway. Hopefully this will get sorted out soon.

开档显示正常，但读档后，人物头像会消失，变回原版头像
读档后模型也直接无了，模型会变得只剩个头
