Door Clearance Continued

Description
Original Mod: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2965544918
Note: You must unsubscribe from the original mod, I use the same packageId to keep compatibility going!

Original Description

A lightweight mod which adds an extra validation rule when items are placed on the ground - they will now consider door/gate tiles as invalid. The goal here is to prevent sensitive doors from being stuck open due to items suddenly being placed, such as those caused by butchering, milking animals, or stripping prisoners.

FAQ
Q. Isn't this just DontBlockDoor? What's the difference?
A. Yes, the two mods set out to accomplish the same thing. As a fan of that mod myself, the original plan was to submit some performance optimizations to its author. However, after digging into it, building the mod from scratch with a different technical approach seemed to be the way to go instead.
This version here aims to accomplish the same goal with fewer patches and without touching any ticking methods to minimize harmony overhead.

Compatibility
  • This does not touch your save file and can be added or removed any time.
  • Should be compatible with any door-adding mod.

Credit
  • tikubonn: For the original concept of this mod which has been serving the community well since 2019. Countless chicken jailbreaks were prevented thanks to their efforts.

Hello, I will place a door at the entrance of the killbox, and then place bricks and stones in the door to slow down and divert enemies entering the position. However, I don't want objects to block the door in daily games. Can you add an option to make some doors unaffected by MOD?

@Trashman if its not working you likely have a mod conflict, post your logs and I might be able to help otherwise

@Alkappa - ReBuild: Doors and Corners has a similar feature already built in, you can most likely remove this mod if you are going to use Rebuild

@Kupie - Pretty good mod ReBuild is, adds some nice aesthetics and makes the doors seamless with the walls and actually makes the "Secure Security Door" you know, actually secure.
