The LB-72 Octuple Anti Aircraft Gun is the primary point defense weapon of the Schoshamo Empire with various useful features allowing it to intercept a large amount of aircraft. Unlike most Schoshamo weapons, the LB-72 is too small to fit a standard Antielectron Force-Injector, instead relying on older Schoshamo Generation I era laser cannons to shoot down fighter craft. This lowers it's impact against engaging with enemy ships but still has the capability to easily shoot down fighters.

The LB-72 is also equipped with new technology such as an automated FOF tracking computer and targeting system which can automatically identify hostile ships while connected to an onboard database of enemies of whoever owns the ship. It's capable of providing an advanced targeting solution and can shoot down any missile or fighter that enters it's firing range. With enough LB-72s on a ship, the immense wall of fire that these guns can put out can easily shoot down whole flights of enemy fighters.
