I'm working on various mod projects for Atilla for my 'Dark Ages' series, I have ambitions to cover important dates and periods throughout the Dark Ages via modding the TW Atilla Grand Campaign. The latter projects from AD 705 onwards will import all units from the Age of Charlemagne expansion pack and additional new units into the game.

These projects I plan to create are as followed:

- Dark Ages AD 533 - Renovatio Imperii
- Dark Ages AD 622 - Clash of Empires, Rise and Fall
- Dark Ages AD 705 - Age of Justinian II and the Byzantine-Arab Wars
- Dark Ages AD 768 - The Age of Charlemagne
- Dark Ages AD 867 - The Age of Vikings
- Dark Ages AD 976 - The Age of Basil II

Your mods are awesome, excited for Age of Vikings. Too many people whining to you about names of nations but they cant mod to save their lives. keep up the good work!

What's weird is I clearly remember commenting on your older mods that were like these and telling you that the calling the Roman Empire anything but is inaccurate and you actually agreed and changed it. Now you're sticking to some nostalgic vibe instead of actual history?

I was referring to Medieval 1 Total War. I grew up playing that game. I'm 32 years old. Medieval 1 set the first impressions for the representation of the Byzantine Empire, so I went with it,

Why would you want to follow a standard set by an inaccurate game from 2006?

Hi got to turn 56 playing the Romans and it wouldn't let me go any further. Attempted to re-load a few times, stuck at 56 turns.

It all started after Medieval TW named them the Byzantine Empire

Why is there such an insistence on misnaming the Roman Empire?
