Description
"Two days have passed since Nova Prospekt blew up, Lambda Resistance begins the uprising within the City 17 as soon as the news are heard. Excalibur 1-6 has been sent out in shattering the Lambda Resistance connections."

You are Combine Elite Echo-8824, it has been 2 days since the chaos created by Gordon Freeman at Nova Prospekt, rebellion started arising within City 17, and maintaining control becomes challenging for the Combine, Overwatch alongside Advisors concluded that Civil Protection are likely to use assets of the Combine against them and join the rebellion instead, Echo-8824 has been assigned to an experimental unit Excalibur 1-6 to take out a base maintained for operations by Civil Protection nearby the outskirts of City 17.

The submission also comes with the map source as well! (.vmf and .vmx)

Note! In case of possible lag in certain sections and sounds stopping being audiable, type in the CONSOLE stopsound or snd_restart!

Barrels were set to explode only by grenade because during playtests, Metrocops had a tendency of shooting them by accident and incapacitate their APC. The door you are probably talking about is the one from bed bunks, it is true that not all doors are to be opened, but at same time, I felt like players don't need to be hand held 24/7 when they were teached this mechanic right at the start of the assault.

i like how the exploding barrels dont explode when you shot them. also the are some doors that need to be kicked down that dont have the kick icon on them.

To make a better context: During the time I was playtesting Excalibur 1-6, game would also crash for absolutely no reason, while this mod simply includes nothing that would override anything from the campaign itself, every asset that's included is only seen in Excalibur 1-6 and does not overrides anything. That's my final conclusion. Disable this mod, if you have this issue, that's all, there's no other fix.

Don't play the Campaign with mods enabled then... It is not this mod's fault random crashes happen.

This mod makes the game crash at Chapter 4 - Venture Ghost.
