UCon Modules
6 items
Description
This Utility Connector module is designed to partially automate long distance trucking operations by automatically guiding the vehicle along oversea train bridges. This module controls only Axis 2 (A/D), while the operator retains full control over vehicle speed.

-] When spawning this module, sensitivity may be adjusted to account for various steering and speed combinations. Vehicle with more aggressive steering should have a lower sensitivity value. This setting is found as a selection property on the module's main microcontroller.

-] WARNING: Module is not designed for operation off-road or on uneven surfaces.

Operation:
1. Attach UCon LiDAR module to UCon compliant truck or car of choice.
2. Turn on LiDAR sensor power using breaker on module.
3. Turn on LiDAR control system using flip switch on module.
4. If available, use the UCon Function 1 channel to toggle the module off when not on bridge.
4b. Use the UCon Function 1 channel to toggle the module on to enable barrier following mode once on bridge.

Would it possible to get a spinning lidar module that would let the truck drive and avoid obstacles, but also let the drone fly around and avoid stuff?
I personally really like where you are taking UCon!

@Ari this one specifically will not work with anything where the socket is facing backwards, since it won't be able to see the walls ahead of it, but it should work with any land vehicle that has a UCon socket. Keep an eye out for GPS waypoint module coming soon though, that will work with drones.

Do all UCon modules work with every Ucon vehicle? IE does this work with the drone?
